Come to think of Karma. It's mentioned here very often when unethical methods, or plain fraud is discussed.

"Karma will hit right back, when you least expect it" Really? My questions here is, Do YOU believe in Karma, or do you think it's BS?

As for my own opinion, I don't believe it excists, might be because I'm a non-believer, atheist so to speak. When you look at all the scammers, and people stealing money on a daily basis, living in HUGE mansions in Dubai, I just don't see Karma anywere. Sure they can lose it all, or get caught doing it, but that is either: There own fault, or a coincidence.
I saw a documentary about those penny auctions site. (Anyone remember Zeekler.com? LOL) Anyway, In this case it was operating in Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Finland, Italy and a few more countries. The way they ran their business broke some of the danish laws, and 2 reporters tried to track them down. Those who owned the site where actually Danes, and they were located in Dubai. You got to see their HUGE ASS houses, big fancy cars, and what not. I was like, WTF? They earned more than 100.000$ daily. And guess what? They couldn't do NOTHING ABOUT IT! They didn't reside in Denmark, and the hosting was offshore. Couldn't do a thing... 10 mins. after the documentary was aired the site got closed down for us Danes. I Thought their business here was over, cause they got scared... Think again... 2 weeks later when all the hype about the story was gone, it was back in business!

These guys are living the life, seriously. Now, if one of them get's killed tomorrow, is that KARMA, or a coincidence? Yeah... Think about it...

Discuss! :)

Karma does exist every action must have an equal and opposite reaction...these people may be enjoying riches now but it won't last long :)

Uhm, and where is proof of that? Source?

This website has been up for 5 years atleast now. I don't see karma anywhere

It's not obligatory for Karma to hit you in this life. Most people can't comprehend this.

This life you're a millionaire, next life you're a beggar. Think about it.

I believe in God and I believe in Karma. It makes me a better man and it costs me nothing. I'm not a fanatic, I can understand the point of view of atheists but what's wrong with believing that you're not the result of a mathematical probability?

It kinda sucks to live life thinking, when you die you'll just get the black screen.

Oh and another thing I've noticed, when people are about to die and know it, they all turn religious pretty damn quick!

it pays not to think too much about these things.

I thought about religion too much when I was in my teens and while I'm happy being an atheist, it seems so much easier to just have a god.

Those people have build a energy shield before they did that stuff(something like this).

NrhwdPY

Karma cant break through that It can only make the shield weaker, and weaker, and wearker.

Till it breaks through and then karma comes with a strong force to destroy his ass.

That's just what you see, the outside part, there are lots of guys driving limos and lambos that are 10x more expensive than the house they live in...you don't know if the mansion is actually rented just for show off, you don't know how unhappy they feel, how lonely they are, what level of stress they handle etc ...IMO this is not called happiness maybe more like "living the moment, don't care what will come next".
Personally I believe in Karma and if the guys were not visited by Karma by now that doesn't mean they should not expect it in the next day, month, years. Everyone gets hit by Karma sooner or later. It would be nice if we could see it coming so that we could hide but the fact is you get hit when you least expect it.
What someone can do is to forget about K and focus on giving back to others, doing good things, making him/herself happy and becoming a better person in every aspect of their life.

I'm an atheist but i can't see any relevant about religion = karma. IMO karma is the result of mistakes you'd made without thinking.

every action must have an equal and opposite reaction...these people may be enjoying riches now but it won't last long :)
which doesnt necessarily mean the opposite reaction has to be by/to the same person. If you look at all the huge banks and corporations, their whole businesses are built on corruption, deceit, using people, scamming. Just look at Congo, all the people being used there by the rich corporations to mine precious minerals and dying in the unsafe mines.

Well Karma isn't part of my culture.

Yet from my experiences, i do believe in it. From my belief, it is all about positive / negative energy and the laws of attractions.

Believe it or not, it is BHW which taught me about Karma and empowered myself!

There are no invisible magic powers ..

You are shutting yourself off the spirituality which is a required component of a human being ;). Not arguing the karma's existence, but having a depth in your thought can help you.

As far as i am concerned,There is no karma, its just a word that will give some sort of relief to the people who are affected and to those who are jealous of their success even though if they are cheating/scamming.

Hey OP, you got a link for that documentary?
It's right here, an article + the documentary... (It's in danish)
http://www.dr.dk/DR1/kontant/2010/10/05172701.htm

I just checked the site.. It's still up... Not a suprise to me

EDIT: The video wont show up for me, for some reason, but the sound plays.

There is psychological karma via empathy and then there is the EPR paradox and particle entanglement. Then if you consider the possibility of a multiverse and the role of the observer it's not so suddenly clear cut. Also, karma is some what different for a reincarnate and a rebirther.

A few years ago I would agreed with the OP but now I wouldn't be so dismissive of the concept. Plus I have learned to tread lightly on other people's belief systems.

Karma is inside of us. If we do good, we feel good. If we do bad, we feel bad...

Even those without a sense of remorse, will feel kama in their own way.

Those Danes you speak of who live in Dubai, can probably never go home to see their friends or family and I know I wouldnt want to live in a sandy desert where pretty much everything is illegal!
