Kangaroo Mafia - For Aussie Eyes Only

Yeah the captcha display is broken, pretty sure in phpbb you can disable it from being required on sign up. Might be a short term fix.

I started a forum too lol cos I thought partymatt wasn't going to get his act together.
Hopefully a few users from aus will come use this one as well :)

Hows your going rarez? Im happy to make one as I have a fair bit of experience with forums and can smash one out pretty quick.

What you think guys should we just wait for the KM one to get sorted?

let me know when you have it partially setup and ill see if i can get some time to come help out

As you are all fellow Aussies you will understand me when I say I'm with Bigpond so have been living in the darkages of 14.4k dialup speeds for the last week.

They have finally replaced the whole line from the pit outside my house to the exchange after 4 technicians visited in the last 5 days, so I'm back.

I'll get onto it tonight, after I feed AMR the 20 or so articles that I wrote while my internet was stuck in 1997.

I did spend my time in the dark ages mapping out a rolling 6 way link exchange map that won't leave any footprints - the theory works with as many exchanges as you like and can be 8/10/12 way - whatever.

As for a forum. I'm not really after another BH forum - there's enough of them out there already. I'm thinking more of a closed group working together - just Aussie specific. If anyone's familiar with the VIPBlognetwork and what great results thats giving you'll know what I'm trying to acheive. And if you're not a member pay your $99 VIP donation and become one so you can join - you won't regret it.

Therefore initially I'll only approve registrations after you've PM'd me your BH username through here. And I think we should stay with our BHW usernames for ease of use.

Now I don't do niche marketing. I run one big travel site and a large network supporting it. I am very confident that not just no-one from here, but no blackhatter is competing against me, so I have no fear of assisting my competitors, but I don't know how you guys want to handle that. You could claim niches in a thread - but that way you'll out yourselves..................so I'll leave that up to you all, make some suggestions.

And one thing I'm thinking about is the Melbourne Cup. Some blackhatter made a fortune last year signing up people to online betting. I bet if a few of us put our resources and heads together we could pretty much own those search results.
Although if the person who did it is reading this, firstly I salute you and secondly PM me and tell me it's yours and I'll forget the idea.

partymarty4870, myself and another member in this thread our starting a Aussie blackhat forums but I would like to be invited to your new site. I tried PM'ing you but you didn't respond thus me creating a forum....

At the moment I'm considering what options to offer people using my forum - as a start people can have an email related to the website for free, but from there I'm also thinking about bnc's and possibly (maybe not) vpn access too.

I don't know at this stage it's just a drawing board and hopefully I can get a few of us Aussie's on board to help put things into place.

Maybe we could link our two sites together somehow? your private site and the forums we're working on. At the moment I think there is a lack of information specific to Australian's out there and hopefully this will all change that.

PM me if you can so we can chat further.

Cheers,
R

Sounds good, i'm in a similiar boat got a few brick and mortar sites that I can't really afford to go too blackhat on.

A note about the 'footprints' you realise some of these Australian sites are sitting on the tops of the SERPs for 12+ months with just SeNuke/SB/Xrumer blasts by 'Australian SEO companies' and they haven't been pulled up or slapped yet. I'm all for being careful, but sometimes you just gotta take the dive considering i've rarely seen anyone slapped for exchanges in Australia.

Also - i've looked into the online betting a few weeks ago will put up something about it once you get your forum up.

tell me about it. some of my competitors are doing it with 1000's of site wide links from their other sites. I've tried to replicate with autoblogs - but they don't seem to have the same power as regular htm/php/asp sites.
I just don't have 10-20K to drop on a couple of whole new sites.
I'm pretty sure that none of my direct competitors is doing any active SEO at all. They just have history on their side.

SEO in Australia is so much differnet to international sites.

Ive just taken on my mortar and bricks industry to test out some stuff and pretty much smashed it in 4 weeks.

Funny thing is its not generating any work so Im glad I can do it myself!

hold up a tick dudes partymarty gave me the admin details im just configuring the site now. should be ready soon.

well I dunno what happened but the web server just went down while I was working on it. Its not responding to ping requests either so we will have to sit tight until its ready.

It should be sweet for sign up now. Its just using its inbuilt captcha which will be changed later as it will get the shyt spammed out of it once it gets indexed.

Nice to see so many aussies. I don't run many sites myself. I'm more into coding and dev so more than happy to help you guys out with whatever i can :)
