Big Update
Main Projects
let's do it in Reservoir Dogs theme
Mr. Orange
This is the main project - diet/recipe site. Potential reach? Huge.
At this moment I manage to drive 50+ UVs a day solely from social media traffic. The domain was registered for the first time in December. So far, I have built only several links to the suite, hoping that social shares will do the work. They didn't, at least in terms of ranking the site. The site doesn't appear in TOP300 for any of the keywords I targetted. But it is fine, it will change soon. So far, I have been focused on building social media presence and collecting e-mails.
Current number of followers:
Twitter - 1257
Pinterest - 124
Facebook - 523
e-mail - 19
Expenses:
I am not entirely sure, but probably around $250-300.
Revenue:
I am not sure either. Couple of $ from Adsense, probably 1-2 sales on CB.
I will start to follow expenses/revenus from now on and keep you updated.
Mr. Blue
It is a big project I am working on with my friend - a site in Finance/Forex niche. The domain was registered in November, but we didn't have a lot of time during school and it was hard to communicate since he studies in Poland and I study in the US (7hrs time difference). Now, when we are done with school and are both in Poland, we plan to move it forward and start banking. We plan to publish 2-3 articles of super high quality a week. He is the one writing articles, I am SEO and marketing guy. On usual, it takes him 2-3 hrs to write an article we would be both satisfied of.
At this point we have about 7 articles waiting to be published. Before we publish them, I am going to optimize the structure and finish all the necessary on-page work.
Plans for monetization?
Adsense and Amazon. In the future, we will think of some forex affiliate programs. But for now, we are going to focus on the ads.
Followers base:
Facebook - 14
Twitter - main - 4 ; related account - 614

Expenses:
Probably around $60.

Mr. Pink
Another site in recipes niche. In terms of serps, I have the greatest success with this one. Recently, I partnered with my other friend. He is providing 2 articles a day in return for 40% in earnings. It is win-win. I do not have to invest in content anymore and he is going to get some decent passive income if everything works out.
Currently ranking #6 for mid-high competition EM keyword with 3600 searches a month. CPC - $2+. I ordered several SEO services for this site for around $250 total. I plan to move up the keyword to the TOP on my own. I own several high PA/DA domains and aged web2.0s.
Followers base:
Facebook - 1134 - fake, around 200 real
Twitter - 0
e-mail - 0 <haven't started collecting e-mails yet
Expenses:
Probably around $400-500.
Revenue:
$15
Side projects
Mr. White and Mr. Blonde
These are basically mediabuying/youtube + e-mail collection + clickbank/Amazon
I am not goint to talk about them, at least now. They generated several hundred dollars and will more likely generate more, but I have greated expectations toward main projects.
----
Right now I host all my sites on two different business/shared hostings.
I plan on getting VPS with several different IPs.
Any recommendations?
