Running mentions from a verified account gets the account banned quickly, and it gets whatever account/posts you're promoting deleted fast too.
I've did this several times for months.
It's not really worth losing your verified badge over (if you value the account).
Monetizing isn't easy with spamming from a verified account with mentions.
