Hi everyone. I have an opportunity to purchase a website that has been established for around 8 years in a fairly competitive niche and has been on page 1 of google for the main keyword for most of that time. The guy who is selling it has been spending more time on other projects that make him more money and so this site has dropped from position 1 to position 8 for the main search term. This site has been monetized with Adsense and CPA but there is also a good opportunity to monetize this with dropshipping which he has never done. The cost of the site is around $3000 and I am looking for somebody to invest half of that and I will put the other half. From my side of thing I will handle the day to day running of the site such as orders and customer enquiries, adding products etc and I am hoping that the investor would be more experienced with seo than me and would handle the seo side of things. I am on tapatalk at the moment so don't have income figures to hand but if anyone interested messages me then I will send more info in an hour or so.
Im interested and I can handle a lot of the SEO myself. Also, I work for an INC 500 company so marketing, dropshipping, and customer service are my fortes. Depending on the sales figures, I would be really interested doing a half and half partnership. I could even give u access to my servers if need to be to run campaigns for yourself. Let me know the deal
I have checked this site again this morning and it looks like it got battered by the new google update so I'm going to hold off for now I think. If things change over the next few days then I will pm you all to see who is interested.
I'm debating whether to ask the seller whether he would lower the asking price now that the site has been hit by panda. I was going to walk away all together but part of me still thinks that there could be money to be made from this site. It would all depend on whether the site could be brought back to page 1 or not. At page 1 the site will make a good incomebut without it, perhaps nothing. Hmmmmm. Any advice?
If its legit and solid ecommerce we might find ways around relying on G traffic. We could brain storm customer retention, upsells and network marketing ideas. This might be great time to get in touch with the seller and request drop in price. please pm me more info
