Hello Everyone,

I have a great money maker for you. You know Flippa is getting worse everyday. By worse, i mean security-wise, customer service wise, payment and fee wise. Along with some colleagues in the college of Computer science, i am developing a Flippa alternative that will launch soon. Our hopes is that it will be better than than Flippa ( We have a vicious advertisement strategy in mind that ).

Now, the project needs investment obviously. Here is the deal, to make this simple, i am creating a share system. Each share is 5$ worth. There is 1000 shares. You can invest in advertisement, platform, hosting, security or anything you want to invest into. Your return is calculated by the number of shares you have. For example, 50$ is owning 1% of the profit the website makes the first 3 months.


Don't get me wrong guys! No flaming please. I am trying to pay off my college tuition and i am just opening this up for you to join in so i can help myself and you as well. The full launch of the website will be in two weeks from today ( We are setting up an eScrow system to do our own transactions). Investment will close soon.

so the jv is just for the 1st 3 months?after that the profit will be all yours? what id it didnt make any money or didnt make the roi?
 
good idea a flippa alternative would be good i hear a lot of people complaining about them now, all the best with it!

No, after 3 months the investment will open up again. The ROI is hopefully 99% guaranteed. It is a kind of angel investor thing :) And remember the potential is good if you look at how crappy Flippa is becoming .

Is their any gurantee that your business model will work surely ???
This is not to discourage you but just my concern :)

Well, Flippa is currently going down, and the marketing strategy i have put forth with my colleagues is to ensure that Flippa keeps going down ;) Let's leave it at that
 
While I'm all for a Flippa alternative, I seriously doubt that you'll be able to sell 1,000 shares here to fund your vision. Why don't you try using a crowdfunding site like Kickstarter or IndieGoGo instead? You should be able to scare up $5K there easily.
 
So after 3 months we all start from zero again right? the project reopens or new project starts?

Thank you so much for the suggestions REP+ I actually will do it today. I already contacted many angel investors and got up to 800$ which is not bad. The reason i am opening it up here is because i want members here to benefit. This is the only forums that helped me so far :)

No. The project will be already established, but it will be an opportunity for more investors to earn profit.
