justhost vs Host Gator

I've tried both and my experience has been slightly better with JH at the moment. Ran into a few problems in HG but quickly solved them, so they would get a recommendation from me as well.

Exactly.

With 100 sites you'll be way over the RAM and CPU power, if not, usually, the inodes are going to limit you.

HG shared account has a soft limit of 100k and a hard limit of 250k (this will suspend your account).

Justhost has a 50k limit, and they will suspend your account if you exceed this limit. I don't think you can host lot of sites with this limit.

Do you really want to put 100 domains on one host (and likely 1 IP address?). This is going to leave a hell of a footprint, and bascially any cross-linking between the sites will have 0 value SEO wise.

I'm not a fan of JustHost, they screwed me over pretty bad. Make sure you don't register or transfer a domian there, so when shit goes south you can just update your nameservers to get away. Otherwise you might be waiting several days to get your EPP codes, and if the domain isn't 2 months old you will be stuck in limbo....screwed.

You'd be better off getting 20 different low cost hosting accounts from different hosts and spreading your risk around a bit.

I own a small hosting company that resells hostgator, and I only have good things to say about them.

Yes, shared hosts aren't designed to host so many sites, although it says unlimited domains, the reality isn't exactly this.
You probably won't get banned, but your account can be suspended or maybe, depending of the webhost, you'll receive a message suggesting you to upgrade your account to a VPS or a dedi.

Even the shared business accounts aren't designed to host a lot of sites.
Besides, as other users said, you'll have all the sites on the same IP, so any linking between the sites won't do much, unless you don't pretend to link any of your sites.

Literally took the words out of my mouth, srs. I have yet to find a hosting company that matches their service, personally

so maximum how much sites i can used with just host ? may i use 50 sites instead of 100 ?

Just Host is known for getting hacked my friend - Stick to the Big HG!!

I have sites on each and just host is so bad compared to host gator, get major lag loading up my just host sites and im sure its resposible for alot of bounces.

I agree with hostgator's support! I feel like a VIP every time I talk to them.

I can't speak for all of my clients but all the ones I talk to tell me their websites load faster on hostwinds than with any other host they have ever experienced

If you have to opt out of these two then you can go for hostgator..

hostgator all the way.. dont even think about justhost.. I got 2 year freehosting from justhost with a domain name.. but still I hate justhost, so much downtime, poor security and great deal of other issues.

Use coupon "loyalty" at JustHost and get 1 year hosting+domain at $35.
