Just stated Blogging 4 days ago..

Did you have a plan before you started your Medium blog?

Keep in mind that just because you posted in Medium doesn't automatically mean that you will get a lot of traffic.

While Medium does have a nice flow of internal traffic, you have to have a plan coming in if you want to make the most of it.

I suggest that you study the top blogs in your niche and figure out their content creation strategy and how they monetize their blogs.

If you have a plan, your chances of succeeding go up tremendously.

As the old saying goes, "If you fail to plan, you are planning to fail."

This is very easy to do with Medium, so it's important to have a plan coming in.

Medium can be a goldmine, although its outbound links are less valuable than before.

The key to Medium is to have a solid plan coming in.

Honestly, if you are just blogging for fun then medium is a good platform to start. When you decide to take things seriously, I suggest you move to Wordpress.

I have been blogging since 2 years now. I have been there and done that.

My advice to you is to be create as much as quality content that you can. Just fill your website with good quality blogs that helps people!

A couple of years later(organically) you will start getting noticed by search engines. Or if you have connections in the industry you can get backlinks and get your site running in less than 6 to 8 months.

During the initial days try social media marketing with really clickable blog posts. Later, you can reduce the social media traffic and concentrate on the SEO.

I just started blogging on Medium and idk what are the things I should do first. Should I just consistently post a blog then sooner apply for a partnership program? I am not getting that much traffic right now I only got like 20 views per blog and 5-4 claps (reaction). I just posted 2 blogs in it as I made this post. Any tips would be appreciated.
Start working on new content placement and drive traffic before applying any partnership program.
