Hi, i am just starting with pinterest, i got alot of experience within instagram but pinterest is pretty new to me. So far ive started 3 accounts:

1 business account with 600 followers
2 fashion accounts with a total of 1600 followers.

I need some advice on where to get invites where i can get invites to good boards that i can pin pictures to as this seems like an effective way to gain followers. Also would love some advice on how to get alot of followers. I will spend alot of time on this.

Thanks in advance

I'm getting myself started with Pinterest as well, are you going to do this manually or do you have a bot? :)

I have followliker for a couple of users but it seems i have been blocked from following alot of people as i cant seem to follow anyone with any of the accounts on the different ips. So i am doing it manually now, liking, commenting, repin, and following about 100 follows per day and 40 comments, likes and repins per day :)

Find big boards and you will see a lot of them have some sort of contact information so you can ask to be added.

Go to pingroupie and look for boards in your niche. Go to the boards and look for instructions on how to join. If there are no instructions, leave a message on the board owner's latest pin.

hi, how would we know who the board owner is?

thanks

Ive started creating my own. I got a fashion board with 35 pinners and 1k followers as of now. Figured just creating my own where i control the content might be the best for me. Also gained 900 followers in 2 days on my new account which i am only doing manual actions on, no bot. Seems to be alot better than botting :)

I almost never see these messages unless its by accident.. if they're anything like me I just assume they're looking to spam my board with their own crap and I delete the comment.

I never had any problem with that and got into the biggest boards with that method.

So what's your suggestion how to do it?

How long ago was this? I get quite a few requests on random unrelated posts but it's quickly scrolled off the screen by other activity. I suppose there isn't any other way.. But did these boards instruct you to ask for an invite that way though? Anyone attempting to reach me by leaving a random comment probably isn't going to be seen by me because I'm not scrolling through dozens and dozens of "x, x and 49 others followed your board x" or "x,x and 49 others liked your pin" to find them

Not that much ago maybe 2 weeks.
No they didn't advice me to.At first the best way to get added is to follow the board instructions.
But when there are no instructions and the board owner isn't an active pinner in his own board this is the best way to go.
Cause only in boards with an insanely amount of Contributers, other People will invite you.
But this would be the last step after the owner isn't answering.

I also know the problem by my self, after an X Amount of followers it's just to much to handle.
That's why the best chance is to comment on their last pins when they're online.
This is hard because sometimes you have no chance to catch them online, but the best way is to search for their latest pins.
And then to engange with them as a normal person would. That way you get them to be excited if you accept their invitation.
Sometimes you notice that they're way more active in some of they're own boards, than this is your best shot.

Also the better your Accounts looks the higher is the chance, to get invitations.
Tried that with different Accounts at an close amount of followers.

Thanks for all the advice in this thread. I'm a total pinterest noob :-)

Request for board invites by leaving comments on their latest pins. Also can try buying invites from places like fiverr.

Too all of you, it is now 30 days since i posted this thread. I followed all tips i got and also some others from the forum. I have now gained soon 7K followers the first 30 days. I did so by manual following, liking, and pinning on group boards! My stats are the following:

2K Pins, 6,9K Likings, 11K followings and 7K followers!

I am happy with the results so far. My goal is 50K by middle of august. I have tried with bot and with manual. And Manual actions seems to pay off much more for me than automatic :)

Thanks for all replies!

Great results! At some point in time, you should consider making your own groupboards. It takes time to build up, but you'll have full control.

Also, you should be careful with likes, because Pinterest has a limit of 100,000 likes. When you reach that limit, you won't be able to like anymore, until you unlike some of your previous posts.

I would love to join your board if there is room. I will PM you more info.
