I just spend over 4 and a half hours with rockstar support because my rockstar games launcher wont launch.

I uninstall it, downloaded and installed it again 6 times (they asked me to do it each time), they asked me to do other stuff, some of them 2 or more times, all together it was over 4 and half hours long experience.

Then this happened.

I know this stuff can be serious and that its a bad joke, but I did write "lol" at the end. Now, they are refusing to connect me on chat because of that lol

(Before saying I shouldnt joke about it just know that I did spend over 4.5 hours doing same thing 6 times, I did feel going insane after like fifth time of doing the same exact thing that takes me 25-30 minutes to do)

Anyway, I just felt like sharing this with you guys :D

They gotta keep it professional and represent a certain agenda lololol

Gta v online good times installing a mod menu and cheating millions of dollars

Atleast somewhere I had a hedonistic lifestyle lmao

I love how they instantly treat you like a dangerous criminal. Actually, it's pretty damn creepy. Someone actually suicidal would probably feel worse after that.
The funny thing is that she said "If you were genuinely making such a threat, I am required to report your threat to local law enforcement authorities" and then she ENDS THE CHAT.

Well how would she know if I was genuinely making such a threat if she ENDS THE CHAT without asking me if Im being serious?

I think because she is required to report it by the law (or at least write that she is) and she doesn't want to do that, so instead of further asking me to find out if Im serious or not she just Ended the chat because its much easier that way. Plus, after 4+ hours of her telling me what to do without success, she probably just wanted to stop "helping me".

Couple of more hours, two more different support guys, and still nothing has been resolved.

Rockstar chat support is going in my top 10 worst chat supports, right next to hostwinds, vpsserver and Amazon associates lol

Lol. Amazon associate's support is actually one of the best I've seen in recent times alongside namecheap.

My best guess will be that the customer support lady was already tired of the conversation. :D

Wow, what the hell is this? It reads as a thinly veiled threat. Someone who’s actually suicidal should under no circumstances be threatened with law enforcement, and even so, "falsely" claiming suicide hardly constitutes criminal activity. If anything, it’s a waste of police time to report frivolous nonsense.

Did you perhaps get one of those "customer service rating" emails? This is one of those situations where I’d definitely report the service lackey, and let them suffer in some reeducation seminar. Something like "They failed to solve my issue, then threatened to call the cops on me before ending the chat. One star."

Every big game company does the same.
Blizzard did it few times also (from WoW tickets or even worried guildies).

What the solution I got one for you.

Load Vmware add a os.
See if the app now works.

What about download ccleaner and clean the browser info but also clean your registry.

Try safe mode that loads only default applications now try the application..

Try running the game as administrator.
Highlight game then side click run as administrator.

Turn of all firewall and all virus applications now try the app.

I wonder if the graphics is conflicting turn the graphics resolutions down.

The last I can think of is a dll clash with something you loaded recently .

Try a virus scan, try with several apps as there database are all different might be a virus.

Might help good luck.

As a person who worked for several big companies in the customer care/tech support departments, I can tell you we are "forced" to do what that agent did.

Yes I did, I rated her 1/5 in every category with valid explanations and reasons for doing so.
