As title says, I've just purchased a domain from pbnhq.com and it was terrible. The fact that you can see only metrics before purchase is kind of a gamble, but I was curious to try and buy one as a test. Besides that, it didn't have anything to do with the category it's listed in. Anyone had any experience with this domain vendor?

I just saw their stock on their website, can't comment on this.

However, I always send my clients lists with full domain names as per their specifications so they only buy what they really want. There are domain sellers and then there are domain sellers. :)

Try to contact their support and ask them

Ask them for a refund. Wonder if they have a BST here.

I've already registered it for a $1 so I won't ask for a refund. Anyways, that's enough for me not to touch that site again. Domain advertised as Animals/Pets category, got a former domain of some kind of police station in USA.

Well, that's what happens when you buy from someone who's selling point is price and not quality.

What do you guys suggest: Re-create from archive and put the link up, 301 redirect or set the site from scratch to be relevant to my niche?

Well to clarify a bit, Pbnhq lists the niches of their domains purely on what Majestic says, since they pull it from there via their API. However Majestic topical determination, especially with lower RD sites, may be... quite off. Without seeing the domain first, it's a significant risk.

Forget 301 and make a PBN site out of it.

New content will be just fine. No need to recreate everything :)

Hey folks,

Let me provide some clarity around this.

There are two category/topic columns in the marketplace.

You can see them here:

HL8w5QU

Majestic Topics is pretty obvious and Majestic topics are hardly ever accurate. So we have the second column Categories. This is a manually entered topic from our staff who are reviewing the previous website on the domain from Archive.org.

We're providing as much data (frequently update) that we can think of to provide the best selection decision for our buyers. We don't not show the domain names within the marketplace as this is our business IP. In saying that, we still have a strong returns policy. All you need to do is contact the support desk (support form is on the site), read through any of our knowledgebase articles you like, and log a ticket. Most often we'll refund the domain for you so you can select another.

Even though you've already registered this domain, we're still happy to provide a refund and cover your registration costs.

My main concern was that "Categories" column said Animal/Pets and when I've looked at the archives it had nothing to do with it. I will send you a pm and to be fair you can refund the money to my account balance and I will take another domain.

No problem, refund has been processed.

Great customer service :-) problem solved.
