Just lost my ranking. Is it a google dance?

I have a website created for mid comp. keyword.
Keyword ranking just shooted backwards..
So what I have done
-Build 3 tumblr with huge backlink profile(expired web 2.0) - Around month ago
-Site ranking on pos. 30 average for keywords
-Built 20 web 2.0s from seoclerk(BIG MISTAKE MAYBE), no change in ranking
-2 days ago my site ranked on 10 pos. on one keyword(200k monthly search)
-Got views and uniques, lots of it, so got hyped and
-Built 600 profile links(0.8$) and 100 comment (0.1$)links form panel.SeoStore.net(thread from here), they are cheap so and I am new to this game.(vERY BIG MISTAKE)
-AND,,, i Lost grip on that keyword and got spot on pos 35 now, just 30 min ago, so 2 days of views might vanish tomorrow

Learned a lesson. Now thinking of going with tumblr ifttt strategy in future.
Really perplexed right now after reading lots of thread out of paranoia , could this be a little google dance? What should I expect approximately from it?

Can I disavow all the links I just made on webmaster tool with the backlink report I got?, following they are not available on Big G's webmaster dashboard for now.

Please feel free to throw your opinion guys

I was reading that there was a Google update on 27-september. So it might because of that.
 
600 profile links is a bit of a gamble, don't think they do much nowadays anyway. Maybe disavow them first.

Exactly! Should I use a paid service or just go along with google webmaster(but the links are not shown yet)

it is mate. idk but do u think google would catch all the links in a day. dont wanna sound naive but here it is.
 
First go disallow your bad backlinks and one more thing give backlinks your web 2.0 and give some guest post and wait some days
 
Don't rush in though, there are updates going on and you don't know where your site will settle. If you make too many changes you won't learn anything and will be none the wiser. It does sound like you overdid the low quality links but they can take many weeks to index nowadays anyway, so it might not actually be them.
 
Don't do a thing. Seriously. I've said it before but it is always worth repeating. The Google 'dance' isa two-stage process. If you start disavowing and making alterations the instant your ranking changes Google will see this and know you're trying to 'game' the system.

Leave everything alone for at least 7-10 days and see what happens. Nothing happens quickly nowadays.

Don't be so sure it's the links. I've got a website ranking fairly well on crappy links (really, really crappy), so it may not be that.

The first question I'd ask is what is your keyword density and what % of your backlinks are exact match?

Okay, prolly gonna wait now for a week and then start with social shares.

I've used 25% naked url and rest branded keywords and lsi mixed with main keywords(my domain dame is same as my main keyword so)

Never disavow your links till you get a manual penalty.

Make better links...

Profile links will probably be counted as spam from Google which they will ignore.

September update might be causing some issues.

Keep making good links, you will recover soon.

more than likely just a dance.

if this is all you have done, and you rank for a 200k keyword... o_O then im guessing your post is still pretty new, and google is testing your article out in the serps, and maybe people pogosticked out of there, so g might have just thrown you back where you belong until you get stronger links..

or your anchor text is fuked up and the algo just caught on:eek:

i dont think penalties happen much anymore for links, more so for anchor text. :)

We were last years between the second and fourth page of Google, in a extremely high competitive market with a very high competitive keyword. Sometimes I hire a package on the Marketplace. Right now I'm using a new (to me) link building service, one of the bests on the forum or seems to be. From the third page we jumped to Non in top 100 and that's like this already 4 days. The link building service said the dance is normal, and that we'll be back stronger. I checked and no manual actions were taken so I trust we'll be back and better, after all this made us to optimize our on site too.

*UPDATE* Boom I am on position 9. I mean can't really trust instinct these days. Idk but I did create amazon backlink today morning, surely that is not its effect cause it needs indexing and whatnot.
But feeling good, traffics flowing in, lost rankings on some lsi keywords tho.
