You are too small to mess with. They would have to get a court order to get paypal to give them your info. Unless you got on the NYT bestsellers list with their content they just want your content to go away. Get to work on soemthing else and stop worrying. If you are in Europe they would have enormous filing fees and legal fees to intiate legal action.

They have nothing if you logged to ac through proxy. Think about it! If I knew your pp address and wanted to hurt you, I would sign to AC with a bogus email and request to be paid to your PP. Even if it would hit the fan, they still can`t prove nothing.

Don't use a proxy. Proxies can be detected and are also unsafe. However you can call up comcast and ask them to reissue you a new IP address. Alternatively you can cancel your comcast account and then open a new one - voila, a new IP. Alternatively you can get a different modem, and then you will have a new IP.

Further, there is no way to detect if you are using a new PayPal account as long as you use a not-real address, new email, new phone number, new name, and ideally new IP address. Even PayPal themselves won't know you are the same person. AC is just trying to scare you, that's all.

All that said, if you were just plagiarizing, that is serious and you should not be doing that. There could be legal issues.
