Just looking for some Youtube guidelines

I know how hard it is to get advice around here, but I'm not looking for anything special this time

Just if anyone would be so kind as to tell a "Youtube newb" about how to use youtube videos to promote mostly adult and dating type sites. Specifically, I am trying to figure out why some videos are allowed to last and others are knocked down for adult or copyright violation. Also, want to know what rules are on where I can post links.

I know I can get these rules elsewhere, but looking for reality here before I dive into some videos and get my view counts up only to get my videos knocked down and have to learn the hard way like everything else
