So I recently launched a new website and started paying for traffic from adwords And well i'm not sure if thats what I should be focusing on.

My site is basically like Imgur, 9gag, memebase, users come to the site and look at memes. Since my site is so new i'm not sure what approach i should be making first. I have a Facebook community page with links to my site and every time launch a new article i post it there.

I'm not sure where I should be focusing my time on? What would you guys suggest?

Google Ads
I have a free credit on google ads. Should i be wasting it on traffic with a search term or saving it for the future?

Right now i have no way to monetize the website. I plan on doing that in the future i'm just afraid to link to any of the big players in fear of getting banned for lack of understanding the affiliate rules or Ads terms of service. I have a lot of learning to do here and i have read a lot of horror stories so i'm holding off on that until I actually have traffic.

If i use google I have an average CPC but without CPA i feel like CPC is kind of useless. Since i'm not monetizing the site would tracking email signups be an approach to getting a CPA?

Facebook Ads
I have yet to touch facebook ads or promoting anything.

I'm very interested in hearing your opinions.

Feel free to break it down barney for me. Im' a total marketing newb. and... THANK YOU for your time.

Post on Facebook groups & pages with hot content, try and use Reddit's MemeEconomy to get really fresh content.
Could look at posting a low-res version of the image and then having a link for hi-res copy linking to your website.

people go on insta and reddit for memes. Try letting other people post memes too maybe? Even if you post like 10 memes a day, wouldn't people rather follow 10 peeps on IG with a lot easier access from their phones? Just curious

also i cant really scrape content from these sites you all recommended because my site is targeting memes and content in Spanish.

what is IG?
and i try to post 25-50 new memes to the site a day .

Instagram lol. i mean all it takes me is to refresh the feed and I get 100s of new memes. Unless you produce original content like 9GAG it may be hard to rank up. I may be wrong tho

NP bro. As far as you know what you are doing and have a more less clear goal in mind, you're good!
