I finally got the nasty email I've been afraid of, and the reason for that ban is very BS. They say that my short links are unclear about its destination which is Amazon. The funny thing is I didn't use short links at all. That accusation is pretty much assuming. I also clearly introduce myself as an Amazon Affiliate on my site but still got banned. Of course I filed an appeal to them and they were kind enough to add another violation :)

As previously stated, we have terminated the Amazon Associates Program Operating Agreement with you with immediate effect. Your Associates Program account has been closed and you will not receive further payment of advertising fees. We have taken this step because you are not in compliance with the Operating Agreement that governs your participation in the Associates Program.

You are not in compliance with the Linking Requirements because you are using a link shortening service or other mechanism in a manner that makes it unclear that you are linking to an Amazon Site. Additionally, you are not in compliance with the Linking Requirements because your site makes inaccurate, overbroad, deceptive or otherwise misleading claims about our promotions or prices.

It means $4k+ in my balance is nothing but air.

I was using Woocommerce with a plugin to make it look like a legit online store, and I'm pretty sure it does not violate Amazon's rules. Perhaps the plugin did not update products details well that resulted in "misleading claims". Unlucky I guess.

So anyone else doing this, double check your site before it's too late.

I have created another account with a different name, address, WEBSITE,... and planning to use a different method. This time I'll be much more careful about my site. Hopefully no more ban.

sorry to hear your ban, should be easy enough to get round it again though, what is the plugin that you use with woocommerce?

Woocommerce Amazon Affiliates.
Yeah, I've heard that it's easy to get back in, but I have no idea how easy for them to detect. Only time can tell

Sorry to see your account is banned. But What was Source of Traffic? and It was a Showcase Site No Real Reviews of Any product written? Because Now a days dummy Content not works. Your site if have REAL 5-10 Hot Products Reviews & your traffic source also matters.
4K is huge profit. So It was White Hat 4K?

My traffic is very high quality as I get 10% - 15% conversion daily. Maybe I was too aggressive. Gotta lay down a bit.

Really sorry to hear about your ban.

But for the rest of us it would be really helpful if you could give us as much information as possible about this. What was it exactly that was particular about this plugin that makes it "unclear" that you're linking to amazon and what kind of misleading claims about amazon's offers does it make? Maybe it's not the plugin at all. Seems like you're claiming something on your website which is dodgy. Can you link to your website for us to have a look?

Not trying to bash the OP however 4K with 'whitehat' doesnt sound very honest :)

This was your first payment? Or did you receive payments in the past? I am also using the same plugin, but i am not displaying the price of the products, because i had some problems with that plugin and the prices, and so i opted out from that feature.

Do you cloak your affiliate link? Do you use custom "buy now" button? Do you show price? Do you only post amazon product contents on your site? Do you have any call to action text/button like: get the cheapest price here, xxx product on sale, etc? Do you copy amazon's customer reviews directly to your site?

I was banned from amazon saveral times, have read their terms of services saveral times lol.

Be careful when using a site which already get banned by amazon.
