I finally got the nasty email I've been afraid of, and the reason for that ban is very BS. They say that my short links are unclear about its destination which is Amazon. The funny thing is I didn't use short links at all. That accusation is pretty much assuming. I also clearly introduce myself as an Amazon Affiliate on my site but still got banned. Of course I filed an appeal to them and they were kind enough to add another violation
It means $4k+ in my balance is nothing but air.
I was using Woocommerce with a plugin to make it look like a legit online store, and I'm pretty sure it does not violate Amazon's rules. Perhaps the plugin did not update products details well that resulted in "misleading claims". Unlucky I guess.
So anyone else doing this, double check your site before it's too late.
I have created another account with a different name, address, WEBSITE,... and planning to use a different method. This time I'll be much more careful about my site. Hopefully no more ban.
As previously stated, we have terminated the Amazon Associates Program Operating Agreement with you with immediate effect. Your Associates Program account has been closed and you will not receive further payment of advertising fees. We have taken this step because you are not in compliance with the Operating Agreement that governs your participation in the Associates Program.
You are not in compliance with the Linking Requirements because you are using a link shortening service or other mechanism in a manner that makes it unclear that you are linking to an Amazon Site. Additionally, you are not in compliance with the Linking Requirements because your site makes inaccurate, overbroad, deceptive or otherwise misleading claims about our promotions or prices.
