Just Got Denied in the YouTube monetization Program! DETAILS........

Greetings guys,

For the past 5 months now, i have been developing a data visualization channel where i share data comparing countries in areas like economy, technology, science, agriculture etc. My channel has over 90 videos uploaded in it.

But today, i am not so happy because YouTube did not approve my adsense application despite putting in a lot of work and expenses in my data visualization channel, i guess it was a wrong niche.

My plan
Instead of giving up, i think it's time to dust myself off and start fresh a channel. The niche this time is News Channel, targeting Philippines and of course relevant world news.

Please, do you guy think of this kind of niche? this niche can be monetized?

My action steps and responsibilities for each day:
Find latest or trending news, make brief news video around it, with headlines or title, sub titles, relevant images and of course my voice over.

I am also thinking to forget about YouTube and put more effort doing affiliate marketing? So now, YOUTUBE VS AFFILIATE MARKETING

Please, what do you think? do you guys think my effort will not be messed by YouTube again? or i can monetize this type of channel?

Why was it denied? No voiceover, not original content?
 
Youtube is stupid sometimes, it had mortised my adult Youtubee Channel. I don't think you should be denied. I see so many monetised with the data chart race videos.

But other channels like mine were monetized, no voice over, below is their message:

exactly bro. My channel really looks, promising than even some monetized ones

But truly, it is disheartening after many months of hard work, nothing to show for it, we are talking about 5-6 months
 
I hava an suggestion for you, maybe we can work together on some channels that I have

One suggestion mate
Do enough study before choosing and starting your next youtube (IM) journey
You are sad now and are thinking about switching niche and taking your revenge from the damn google but wait.
relax a few days and have a break from your previous journey and let your mind to find the best solution

No niche is wrong. I have been denied for monetization several times, but I got monetized at the end by auto-accept. Don't quit your niche if it is doing well. But if you still feel like doing something else, then it's good. Good luck on your journey! I will follow.
 
Hey man, im owning one of the biggest data viz channels on YouTube. I got accepted into the ypp, later I got demonetized and now I'm monetized again since a few months. How many subs do you have and what is the quality of the Videos? I might help you

Thank you , nice words and advice, but i am considering to switch niche because news seems to be searchable and trending than the other one: data visualization

Mine was rejected for the first time. but got approved in the second time after researching lot about my competitors channels and made changes.

there is an option to reapply after one month, so if you can find out what was the problem, then remove those videos and reapply it.
If there is no voice over and if you use copyrighted songs in all your videos then they wont accept it. if thats the case then you can replace copyrighted songs with youtube studio music.

Never used copyrighted songs, the type of video i made does not necessarily require a voice over

Whats your thought about news channel? Can individual be allowed to report brief trending news? Can i be allowed to monetize this kind of channel?

I dont know, but news seems to attract a lot of contravercy a lot, so dont know if individuals are allowed to make money off new channel.
