That is a great idea..And it looks very Professional.
That is money in your pocket.

Got a question raidel21:

On Angie's List here's one of the terms:

"Repeat Callers: No payout if caller calls back within 15 days"

Does that mean that if someone calls and signs up for the service, then calls back within 15 days to use it again, I won't be paid for the original call? (Perhaps you can elaborate on that).

Thanks...

Once someone signs up..he wont need to call again..

Now, if you make an ad and he calls again..what TOS means is
they will remember his number for 15 days..and you won't get paid again.

This is cause he probably became a member so 2nd call is useless.
Sometime he may call...not become a member...then call again.
But when you got 400 or 500 calls a day...it won't matter to you.

Angies list (website) is a site where homeowners bid for the cheapest contractor..with paid membership.
Make sense??

Go to Angieslist...see what I mean..
it is a membership site...supposed to be very popular..

But you get paid for the phone call only...ppc

edit..they don't need to pay for you to get paid.

I got approved for pay-per-call but I get denied when I apply for a campaign.

Any suggestions?

Thats weird...
Is the blog or site in CJ account relevant to the PPCall affiliate you applied for?

I finally got accepted into the campaigns and my numbers are up and accepting calls! Luckily I was able to get in one of the programs that has call centers open on the weekends.

I got tired of waiting and emailed the AM of each program and within a few hours i was being accepted.

Now I'm off to find clever ways to promote this.

Thanks again for the heads up on this raidel21!

Sounds good..Offline is the key here..

Does it make sense for some of us to get together and do a 'group buy' to hire out the creation of some flyers and promotional materials for distributing with our own #'s offline? Surely there's enough geography that we can work together without stepping on each others toes.

Has anyone contacted the AM and gotten some of the promotional material they have created?

How far are you willing to take this?
Classified ads, distributing flyers, posting a billboard, getting a commercial spot on tv...

I myself have been contacted by some (cool) Members here
about doing JV with this PPCall..

It's just that this is not my main source of income. I make more with
email marketing..But..This is a good idea.

Using flyers in Shopping malls, flyers in the mail (yes you can),
email, and classified ads...Offline being the best.

But a-lot of guys here are looking to JV.

I've been trying various things with Pay Per Call over the past few weeks since I got accepted. I'm currently producing some commercials to try out on Google TV Ads.

Here is one of the 30 second ads:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-7cK9U0k0FI

If anyone wants their own 888 # on this and future commercials, feel free to pm me.

Curious to hear if anyone else is having success with this using other methods of advertising such as direct mail, classifieds, CL, etc. Please share your experience here or pm me directly.

I'm also taking ideas for future video shoots! Let me know what you think.

Nice...Not only are you thinking , but you're taking action..Nice.

Tired of reading on here how so many other people are making good money off of stupid things. Time to take action...

Thanks for the positive feedback. I figured if it could only be a 15 or 30 second spot, it just needed to be funny and get straight to the point. A lot of video was shot so there are some more commercials in the works once I have the time to edit.

My first google TV ad is scheduled to air on tv tomorrow. I bought a $40 spot during the morning on one of the less expensive channels. I only need 6 people to call from the commercial to make my money back, but if even 1 calls I will be very excited that this tv method has the potential to work. The ad spot I really want will reach out to 2.4 million viewers and costs $2500.

I really like how you can have multiple phone #'s on ringcntrl, it is going to make tracking where the calls are coming from so much easier. I don't know if anyone else knew this, but google has their own pay per call type forwarding system. In google video ads you can signup to get a free 800 # to advertise in your commercial. it only forwards the call, but you can use up to 10 numbers to track response rates on different commercials.

Well, it's not exactly a google tv channel, it's part of the adwords network. They have worked out deals with the various tv networks to put in a bidding system for advertisements. Just like you can place adwords on search results or other websites, you can put your video ad on tv shows.

The night before the show airs, it picks the highest bidder for the commercial spot, and inserts your video clip. So for example, today my spot will run on Food Network to an estimated 10,000 viewers for $40.
