I think you could petition them, but chances are good you will not be getting this account back. Your best bet is to figure out what behavior you engaged in that got the account banned, and not duplicate that with your next big account.

You must know the reason! Correct? If yes, than contact the admins telling them you so sorry and never do this again (you understand, that ...., but your point was different..., you love pinterest and thing better than instagram, fb...., the yang people makes mistakes ....sorryx10).

Your best bet is to contact support as suggested above. I got my main account suspended 2ish years ago, got it back, and even qualified for rich pins. Not the end of the world. Caveat: your profile cannot be spammy with redirecting links, 1-to-many-board pins and pins from banned sites. In other words, if you did a good job emulating a normal person, you should be ok.
