with all the hacking of paypal accounts going on and the amount of money I got going into my account lately I finely decided to get some security and got the card. Nifty little thing. anyone else have one?

Yes I got one myself.

I think its well worth it. It gives you that extra layer of security you really need these days.

The price is $29.95 which may seem expensive to some, but if you make any sort of decent money online, you should definitely get one.

It Takes Around 10 Business Days To Arrive At Your Front Door.

I dont see it in my account! where is the link?? can you post it?

not sure what you mean. Its like a credit card that fits in your wallet. you press a button on it and it generates a random securtiy key that you type in.

are these available only in certain countries?

I don't see why they would be. Just type in securtiy key in the paypal search box and it should come up.

These things are great for security and do work. They have been using them in online games for awhile now to protect your account (world of warcraft, diablo 3, etc.)

I just don't get why the prices are marked up so high. Blizzard sells them for $6.50 while paypal sells them for $30.00, not to mention blizzard has a free alternative app you can use on your smart phone instead.

Anyways, I will probably end up buying one haha

What's more important? protecting your video game or protecting your money? fuck world of warcraft hahaha

True, but the point he was trying to make is the technology is the same, so why such a big difference in price.

Also want to point out that although there is no app, there is an option to receive security codes by text, which is free.

I have a security key card, device, or have the mobile app 3rd party app / text msg for all my online PayPal & Banking related activities. :)

yeah that is true. tech is the same but the demand is greater for one than the other....don't you just love capitalism hahah?

Great info thanks . But i would prefer they stop banning accounts with hard earned money for no proper reason=)
