I used to make money by selling ebooks in DP until... they deprecated the ebook section! Stupid DP! Shawn actually deprecate it because close to nobody is interested in using his shitty marketplace section that will charge commisions for every sale...
 
They don't give you a chance to stay at DP. Even they know that DP is crap and they don't want to waste your time there :D

It was the first forum I joined a few years back when I first got into IM, and they did something similar to me back then. I forget the details... something about my signature after paying them to have a signature, but then they said you can't promote products in the signature? WTF are you paying for?!?!

BHW is clearly way better, this experience didn't teach me that. But when you get into IM, you do need to be able to branch out to everyone. It was just part of a simple marketing campaign... start out building some rep over there, sell something soon. Ugh.. just a terrible site. I shouldn't have wasted the 20 minutes.

Yeah, the mods there can be heavy handed and the admin does not realize how much of a quality his rotten site is. I got used to that when I used to be active on that site and I really made good money, although too many spammers exist over there, there are a bunch of users that are good for business but it's getting worse. What irritated me the most are those mentally challenged users who keep spamming with useless posts and neg repping for no reason, and those who can barely write an English word, very horrible.

The time spent there trying to do business is not justified, people better look for other avenues to reach success.
 
Lol I recall a time a mod banned me because I was competing with one of his services.
 
I hate the companies that start treating people as junk whence they start making money. With large user base such as theirs, they are sadly in total control of what they wanna do and what policies they wanna have -- most of which of course is dumb as fsck.
 
I dont like DP anymore from the day they change the forum. Also dont have much offer for workers already.
 
Yea DP is a pain in the you know where :hurt: .. I have gotten banned from there so many times. At this point I am ready to ban them with this new change in their site! Which SUCKS!!!

I banned myself from visiting DP after 2011. Or was it after 2009-10? Don't even remember my login details on it, and not ever lost any sleep over it too.
 
I think DP is garbage. Really, bunch of crazy dudes from the middle-of-nowhere posting threads about how they're trying to monetize kitten blog or whatever. And hired guys with "awesome" promotion posts. Am I right guyyyz?! No, really, maybe it was cool, but now it's garbage.
 
Congrats mate. You were lucky enough, you road to creepy way is blocked. I don't even look that side anymore.
