Just Giving charity page help?

Sorry if this is the wrong section but I couldn't find anywhere that was a perfect fit.

I'm doing some fundraising for a charity and for part of that I'm going to be creating a Just Giving page tomorrow. If you're not familiar with just giving it's a site where you make a page explaining your charitable cause and ask for donations. It makes it easier to raise money from your social networks and complete strangers online as they just have to go to your page and enter their paypal or credit card details. Naturally as this involves both money and the internet my first thought was to ask you guys for some ideas.

Just giving pages appear in google, just type in "just giving" + a charity keyword and you can see hundreds of various pages. Also on the main homepage there is a collection of some of the various fundraisers. Obviously it would be best to be on that page but I can't tell if they're random of if there would be some way for me to get on that front page most of the time.

Please can you give me some advice on how to maximise my page's exposure and the money it raises.
