Hi guys, title says it all. I wanted to ask if buying traffic for newbies like me is still worth it. Obviously with the necessary research.

I have used hilltopads (from my perspective rubbish, nobody replies on the support line and 300+ clicks without sign ups lol). Currently I'm going along with exoticads, no feedback yet to give on that.

I do have a domain and a hosting package but my most important question, if buying HQ traffic, advertising the correct way (the secret recipe which I yet have to discover), will this be profitable?

I would use the landing page which is provided by the affiliate program, which is crakrevenue and has on some offers pretty nice lp's.

Have you tried to filter the traffic received from ad network? Do you use a tracker?

I'm not using a tracker at the moment since I'm checking one by one the paid ads, is it regardless of that still worth it having a filter?

As a newbie i will say go with free traffic first because with paid traffic u have to burn a lot of money. First of all u need tracking ( it is used to blacklist and whitelist zones by id ) second thing u need a domain name and a way to create a landing pages + u need a spy tool to spy on competitors to see what works and what not+ the money u are going to burn to get data so basically u need more than 700 dollars. That's the reason why i said to go with free traffic first.

Thank you for that! Now I'm actually trying to focus on affiliate links to be honest. I actually really would hop in directly in getting conversions by promoting the affiliate (sign ups etc) with banners. Is it a completely not-done thing to make a direct link to the affiliate site through paid traffic?
 
I would not say that Razen666. You can use a free tracking like bemob. For the Whitelists and blacklists, some ad Networks have this built in. It's not really necessary to have a spy tool. You can check others by doing that manual, with VPN. Have you did that only with paid tracker and spy tool?
It's a good choice to have a lander page.

It is not good for the reason that u are going to lose more money and u are not even collecting data because all networks have some kind of shaddy traffic that you should blacklist using a tracker but if u don't want to use a tracker be ready to lose a lot. Have u tried collecting emails of users?

You mean to collect users emails only if they type it on your landing page, but if you don't get conversions, you can't. Right?

No i mean if u don't want to use a tracker use a small amount of money i'm saying like only $5 on ads and create a landing page where u are going to collect people emails and when u collect people's email use an autoresponder that will send them the link to sign up but tbh with you all this is a waste of time because if u are going to use paid ads u really need a tracker and a spy tool it's important

That is as well a valid point & lets say, forget about my freshly bought domain and focus on the "landing pages" from the affiliate, because I'm trying to find out if this is still worth it putting energy in in learning if the combination: affiliate+bought traffic is a good combination. I want to know if there is still a future in it for newbies like me :)

There is a lot of money to be made in paid ads the only problem is you need a lot of cash to test what work and what not but as a newbie i will say start first with paid traffic.

That is actually not a bad idea, make a decent looking landing page, which can be arranged, and it filters the ones who are not interested at all. Additionally, if you have paid traffic and received lets say 2K visits, none of them entered their email adress, something might as well be wrong with that traffic provider or am I jumping too fast in conclussions here?

awesome! And thank you for the feedback what concerns the idea of paid traffic and affiliates that there is a future :D. So its not that simple to just target "Australia" as example when thats a good paying country for my affiliate offer?

No problem :) deff not! it's more to it beside if u are using paid ads like bing ads , google ads or youtube ads then u don't need tracker but when u use thoes networks u really need it because they have some bad traffic there.

Yes & I already learned that with hilltopads & exoticads, where you only have the option to upload a banner and chose the countries, its not quite successfull. Juicyads will be the next one, looks like a whole encyclopedia compared to the ones I just mentioned which are 1 page of the encyclopedia.

Good luck but don't waste a lot of money if it don't work move to free traffic.
 
I think there are more ways to find of a user is a bot. I good ideea is to have a script to determine how much time the user has spent on your landing page, cuz a bot will click randomly on your page in a second. Razen666, how can you do that to collect their emails?
 
How much money do you think we can make if we get more than 50 emails a day?
