Just forget about an open LLC or dissolve it?

I have a Delaware LLC, I am not an American nor a resident of the USA. I no longer use this LLC.

I read that to dissolve it I need to pay $200. That may sound cheap but that is a bit expensive for my standards of living. Plus there is other paperwork and mailing to the US (a few hundred dollars to send this via DHL).

What would happen if I just ignore the existence of this LLC ? Or am I better off just paying and dissolving it to avoid problems? If I ever travel to the US, will I have problems ? xD

If you fail to dissolve your LLC, it'll be listed as non-compliant. There is virtually no blowback by failing to dissolve your LLC in the proper manner as a business owner myself I understand the cost that it takes to run any kind of business, nevertheless one remotely. I will recommend that you sell it to at least cover some loss
 
It should get struck off after a few years of being non compliant but personally i would just pay the $200 and dissolve it properly as you never know with the IRS.

Dissolve it or even easier, just keep it. LLC in US and bank account can be very handy, you never know when you might need it.

I need to fill out and send forms every single year, it's expensive to send paperwork for the US. Even if it's to report $0 profit.

Do you not do taxes etc and annual returns online?

I need to fill out the forms 1120 and 5472. AFAIK, the form 5472 can't be filled out online.

The people who formed our companies offer a service where they do all this for a fee. It might be worth asking your agent?
 
youre not living in usa, i would ignore it.
despite america being a prison nation theyre not going to jail a tourist over it.
my american friend registered an llc 2010 and never renewed or dissolved. nothing bad ever happened.
 
just blacklisted and you will never again able to register company
 
Anybody knows how complicated or not is the process of transfer of ownership? If it's easy and straightforward there might be the option to sell it. I might even be interested ...
