Hey Blackhat members,

I'm a little bored right now while I wait for my sites to rank. So I have some free time to kill before I do anything else.

This is what im going to do.

I'm a newbie at SEO, i'm getting the hang of it and have learned a lot of useful stuff from BHW. So i thought i would do this for fun but hoping newbies like myself will learn some Seo on the way.

I'll Keep it as basic as I can. Hopefully you will understand everything I do and you can start getting into Seo and start banking :).

Here is a summary of what im going to do.

First off im going to target a keyword for an amazon product. I was going to do a keyword for adsense but today ill use amazon.

Also ill tell you all the tools and sites I use.

List of things to do.

Keyword research
EDM(Exact domain match) - might do this, but ill explain if i don't.

Setting up website (today ill use blogger) - usually use my own hosting

Getting content for website (5+ x 500 word articles) 500 is the min we want.

Now its time to SEO our website before we do anything else

Get Backlinks (articles, blog comments, forum profiles, wikis, High authority sites, social media(facebook,twitter,youtube), bookmarks, directories and wikis.

Any other little tips and info ill offer on the way.

Tools being used

ScrapeBox
ScrapeBoard
Ultimate niche Finder
Bookmark Demon
Article Demon
Tweet Buddy
Tweet attacks account maker
CPA Blaster
YT SEO Research Tool
Proxy Multiply

I'll try to make it as easy as possible for everyone to follow. If your stuck or you dont understand something ill help.

Just not going to do it for you since im pretty much spoon feeding you this journey more of a tutorial. lol

I wont outsoruce anything for this but ill show you great people you can outsource to. No Fiverr gigs All BHW member services just a heads up :p

Okay So Day one.

I'll be using Proxy Multiply. This software is for scrapping proxies online its amazing way better then the scrapebox harvester.

First before we get proxies the only reason I say this is because we want fresh proxies for this, we want to find some keywords that we are going to target. So like i said we want to target an amazon product.

So go to http://www.amazon.com/Best-Sellers/zgbs they update hourly on what the top sellers are.

So find about 10-20 products that you think you want to try and rank for. Just incase the completion is way to high. We want to get local monthly searches to be about 1000+ searches.

Day 1 KeyWord Research. -------

So now what ill do is Scrape for Fresh Google Proxies with "Proxy Multiply" so we can start doing some Keyword research.

So Start up Proxy Multiply. Then scrape proxies that work for google (Make sure you have this)

So now that we have our Fresh Proxies and 10-20 Keywords we want to try and rank. We are going to do some research to see if we can rank easily for this.

So i found a product i want to rank for "Xbox 360 Live Subscription Gold Card"

You can use Google Adwords keyword tool but I'm not going to. I don't feel like doing manual research. Or Market samurai but I don't like it anymore.

So what im going to show you is an amazing software I like to use for my keyword research it's called. Ultimate Niche Finder.

So if you have this Open up Ultimate Niche Finder.

Now Go to the Proxies Tab and put in your Google Proxies you found with Proxy Multiply.

Now go to Settings Tab and Put these settings.

Country USA
Language English
Match type Exact

Make sure Allow Adult keywords is unchecked

If you want check mark show only closely related keywords - but im not

Also make sure you have a Google Adwords account. But I recommend making a new one for this. So input your info in that section as well.

If you want also put your DeathbyCaptcha but ill do manual for this.

Now Go to Keywords Tab

and input your keyword Ours is "Xbox 360 Live Subscription Gold Card"

Now click on Add Kw and Expand

We get 800 results

Plus we see if our main keyword is able to rank it shows Yellow so its medium. Lets check all the other keywords so highlight them all and press Analyze.

The nice this about this software is it shows you the Global/Local monthly searches for all the keywords + cpc(adsene) + OCI and Comp pages. Plus it will show you the Difficulty in color if the keyword is hard to rank Green for good to go and yellow for you can try and Red is for the guys who want the gold and to take a chance.

We will go with green since this is for newbies like me :p.

So now that we got all our results we can choose which keyword we want to target.

I recommend getting about 5-10 other keywords. So have your main plus 5-10 other easy keywords these don't need to be 1000+ but try to aim for min 500 searches a month.

The reason I said 5-10 other keywords we will need that for content later and we still want traffic for those other keywords as well.

Also for those people who want exact matching domain click on the keyword and check Domains. If it has a .com .net .org ur good to go. Just check on google first to see if the domain pops on the first page because if it does just forget about the keyword and try another one until you find one that doesn't have the domain on page one.

Example say the keyword is "Iphonecase" and there is a .net only check on google to see if the first page of the keyword has the domain iphonecase.com or .org if it doesn't buy .net and you can easily rank the hell out of it.

So now our new Keyword is " Xbox live subscription" Since the first one wasn't good for us. But its still related to our subject.

I wont get an exact domain for this since im-using Blogger.com obv ill have to make sure the sub-domain is free.

So now I registered my domain with Blogger. "xbox-live-subscription.blogspot.com"
I couldn't register it without the - in front of the words.

So add your keyword as the Blog Title and your set for today.

Okay Folks that's it for today.

To recap

We got our keyword.
Plus 5-10 other related keywords for content for later
We registered with Blogger
We added our keyword to the Title.

So Day 2 will include

Setting up our Blog with the basics.
A little seo work. Not a lot at first.

Day 3

Content
A lot more SEO done to the website

More Days to come :)

I might make a Video of all this later to show you how i do it but for now its all txt

Day 2

Okay so what we are going to do is some onsite SEO

We will be setting up meta tags, keywords, meta description

So my Keyword is "Xbox live subscription"

Description would be like "Xbox live subscription get the latest information and deals even Xbox live gold membership"
Add Meta Tags to Blogger for Better SEO
In this Blogger tutorial I will show you the best way to add meta tags to your Blogger blog (Blogspot blog) to improve the SEO of your blog and work around the limitations of the Blogger platform.

I have observed that there are many Blogger help blogs out there telling you to just add meta tags however this will very likely achieve the opposite result from the one you are after. Whether you are yet to add meta tags or you have added meta tags already make sure you read and follow the methods contained in this article to get the best results.

What are Meta Tags?
Meta tags are HTML tags that provide additional information about your blog that is unseen by visitors but available to search engines. The meta description tag, for example, provides a short summary of the page content. The keyword meta tags show the keywords and keyword phrases a visitor might use to find your blog. Because of abuse of meta tags search engines have become smarter and most no longer place emphasis on keywords to establish page ranking however keyword meta tags are still used by some search engines so it is a good idea to include them.

Limitations of Blogger and SEO
One of the disappointing aspects of Blogger is that it is not properly optimized for SEO. Meta descriptions and keywords are not supported by blogger.com by default. Title tags are also not optimized. This means that you will miss valuable opportunities to attract visitors to your blog.

However meta tags and meta descriptions can be inserted into your Blogger template (Blogspot template) to good effect. Fortunately these work arounds will go a long way to improving the placement of your blog in search engine results. Please refer to adjust Blogger title tags for improved SEO for help with title tags.

Simply placing a meta tag description in your Blogger template is problematic because Blogger will use the same meta tags for all pages in your blog. This means that every entry that Google has for your site will show in search results with the same description. This solution would result in reduced traffic rather than increased traffic. However there is a way to add meta tags to the home page of your blog only which will not affect post pages in your blog. In this way visitors will find the home page of your blog in search engines by the use of appropriate keywords and a site description.

How to Add Meta Tags to a Blogger Blogspot Blog Home Page
1. Login to Blogger if not already logged in

2. Navigate to Design > Edit HTML

3. Back up your template as a precaution by downloading full template to your computer.

4. Check the Expand Widget Templates box

5. Find these lines which will be near the top of your template:

<head>
<b:include data='blog' name='all-head-content'/>
<title><data:blog.pageTitle/></title>

6. Paste the following code immediately below
<title><data:blog.pageTitle/></title>
<b:if cond='data:blog.url == data:blog.homepageUrl'>
<meta content='Place your blog description here' name='description'/>
<meta content='Place your blog keywords here(separated by commas)'
name='keywords'/>
</b:if>

7. Enter your blog description between the single quote marks under description. Maximum 150 characters

8. Enter the keywords of your blog between the single quote marks under keywords. Ensure you separate each keyword or keyword phrase by a comma. Make sure your keywords do not exceed 200 characters

By way of example here are the meta tags I use for the home page of Blog Know How:

<b:if cond='data:blog.url == data:blog.homepageUrl'>
<meta content='Find tips,tricks,tutorials,walkthroughs to customize your Blogger Blogspot blog.SEO,Banners,Adsense,gadgets,fixes,feeds,rss,help for beginner bloggers' name='description'/>
<meta content='blog,blogger,blogger.com,blogspot.com,blogspot,blogging,tutorials,tips,blogger help,customize blogger,SEO,make money,gadgets,Google Adsense,banners, feeds,analytics,solutions'
name='keywords'/>
</b:if>

9. Click on the Save Template button

10. To see your description in action you can either navigate to your blog's home page and click on view source in your browser. In Internet Explorer you will find this option in the view menu. A text document will appear which you can scroll through. You will see your description near the top of the document. Alternatively you can check your description in a free Meta Tag Analyzer tool such as Submit Express or SEO Centro

How to Add Meta Tags to a Blogger Blogspot Blog Individual Post
1. Follow steps 1 to 4 as for adding meta tags to the Home Page

2. Add the following in the
<head> section of your Blogger template. Enter this code below the Home Page code above you have just entered:
<b:if cond='data:blog.url == "http://url of your post"'>
<meta content='keywords pertaining to your post' name='keywords'/>
<meta content='crafted description of your post' name='description'/>
</b:if>

Here is an example of optimized meta tags for this post:

<b:if cond='data:blog.url == "http://blogknowhow.blogspot.com/2009/05/add-meta-tags-to-blogger-for-better-seo.html"'>
<meta content='meta tags,optimize blogger,blogger SEO,search engine optimization, blogspot,blogger,blogspot.com,blogger.com,blogging,blog' name='keywords'/>
<meta content='Improve SEO by adding meta tags to your Blogger Blogspot blog. Step by step tutorial shows you how to add meta tags to the home page and a single post' name='description'/>
</b:if>

3. Add your post URL, keywords and description. To find the URL of your post navigate to the post's page and copy the link showing in the address bar of your browser including the http:// prefix

4. Click on the Save Template button

5. To check your description you can use the view source in your browser once you have navigated to the post page or a meta tag analyzer

Note: This method is suitable if you have a few key posts that you want to ensure you get maximum traffic on. If you have a lot of posts this manual method would be very tedious. I don't know of any automated method or script to add meta tags at this point but I am investigating it and will keep you posted.

Analyze Your Blogspot Blogger Meta Tags
Once you have added meta tags to your blog you can use tools to analyze them to ensure their relevance. Aim for meta tag relevancy to page content of above 90%. To check this you can use a free meta tag analyzer tool such as Submit Express or SEO Centro

Troubleshooting and Tips

• Observe Character Limits
To avoid problems ensure that you keep within the maximum character limits:
Title Tag - Maximum Characters is 60
Site Description - Maximum Characters is 150
Keywords - Maximum Characters is 200

• Title Tag Tweak
If you have inserted the title tag tweak and it is highly recommended that you do so then you will need to add the code above after the title tag adjustment in the
<head> section of your template. Read more about adjusting title tags
• Keywords
Although some search engines no longer place too much emphasis on keywords some still do so it is worth adding keywords. Avoid using the same keyword more than 3 times. The maximum number of keywords recommended to be robot friendly is around 20.
• Problems Reading the Code
Some readers have reported problems with their browser reading this code. Try this document form of the article if this happens to you

In this Blogger meta tag tutorial I have discussed the best way to add meta tags to a Blogger blog (Blogspot blog) to improve search engine results given the limitations of the Blogger platform. In this article you have learned to add both meta tags for keywords and descriptions to the home page. You have also learned how to add meta tags to an individual post. To optimize your meta tags I have included links to free meta tag analyzer tools.

I got this info from http://blogknowhow.blogspot.com/2009/05/add-meta-tags-to-blogger-for-better-seo.html id like to credit it all for them.

So follow these steps to add keywords and meta description to your website.

See its basic :) it will take about 10 min or so just a light day.

Day 3 is all about content

We want to get at least 5+ articles with 500 words min for each article. We wont need unique articles since we arent using adsense for this. Its just amazon so we will spin our articles for this :)..

Day 3

Content

So I have this program that I use it pretty much scrapes all article sites for related articles.

But if you don&#8217;t have a tool like this just go to an article site like ezine or something like that and find 5 or more articles u want to spin.

Okay so we found 5 articles we want to spin. So we need one for our main blog page and 4 for other related keywords but we wont focus on those that much.

All right I have a tool called article Demon, im sure most have it or at least know about it. Anyways open up your article spinner software or do it manually (supper slow way).

Okay so load up your first article spin it. Then do the same with the other 4 and save them to a fold or ur desktop for now.

Also when You put a title don&#8217;t use the same title as the article. Spin it or make your own.

So now what we are going to do is post all your articles on the blog and Optimize them all. I&#8217;ll explain one, but you&#8217;ll have to do it to all your other articles as well.

So what we have to do is make sure that we have about 2-3% keyword density on our article. So it doesn&#8217;t look so spammy to google.

· Keyword Density: 2-3% - make sure your keyword is used in your article
· SEO! Suggests: Add keyword phrase to post title
· SEO! Suggests: Add an H1 heading containing your keyword phrase
· SEO! Suggests: Add an H2 heading containing your keyword phrase
· SEO! Suggests: Add an H3 heading containing your keyword phrase
· SEO! Suggests: Add an H4 heading containing your keyword phrase (not a must)
· SEO! Suggests: highlight your primary keyword phrase with bold face near the top of your content
· SEO! Suggests: Add an image with keyword phrase in alt text (ill show you how to do this)
· SEO! Suggests: Add Keyword phrase to first sentence
· SEO! Suggests: Add Keyword phrase to last sentence
· SEO! Suggests: Add an internal link near to the top of your content. (means add a link from your site within you site) keyword: Iphone You would hyperlink it your own domain
· SEO! Suggests: Article must have a Min of 500 words

This is what we are looking for in ur articles.
Also italic and bold at least one keyword. This means to focus on it.

So once we have Optimized our articles we are at least 50% there :).

Since this isn&#8217;t wordpress we cant add tags so we have to add labels, so put your keyword in the label under the post box.

For those who don&#8217;t know the html code for Headers here they are

<H1> </H1>
<H2></H2>
<H3></H3>
<H4> </H4>

I&#8217;ll show you an example of the article I wrote on my website that I optimized in the next post ill show you the HTMl version with the codes so you can see how I placed them

P.s The main article we want to make a sticky on our website so it always stays on top.

Check this site how to do it. http://websitetemplatedatabase.com/blogging/40-sticky-blogger-post

So stay tuned and ill show you and example Tomorrow of my website with the SEo optimized article plus ill add the sticky J

Day 4 Adding some stuff to our Blog

Okay so now that we have our content on our blog we have to do some editing.

First step make sure that we have at least 1 image on each article that we spun.

But we are going to have to optimize it.

What I usually do is add an image at the bottom of my article.

Okay so Click the image icon on the blogger tool bar, then upload your photo drag it to the bottom of your article.

Click on the EDIT HTML tab and look at the image html code and scan for this alt=" "

Put your keyword between the alt. Example alt="Xbox live subscription"

The reason we do this is because google, bing, yahoo or w.e other search engine spiders that crawl your website have no idea how to tell what your picture is. So with that alt tag it tells the crawlers (bots) what the image is.

So now that we have this done Lets move on to our Amazon product.

We want to add our product that we found to blog,

Okay I found mine, so what I did was added 2 banners One to the left side and one to the right side.

Use the Add a gadget

Click on the html/javascript

Then add your html code that you got with your Amazon affiliate link.

Example

<iframe src="http://rcm.amazon.com/e/cm?t=1&o=1&p=8&l=as1&asins=1=tf_til&fc1=000000&IS2=1&lt1=_1=1=1=1=1" style="width:120px;height:240px;" scrolling="no" marginwidth="0" marginheight="0" frameborder="0"></iframe>

Now if you want as well you can add this to your article you can either add it to the bottom of the first paragraph or to the 2 second.

And if you don't have an amazon affiant account get one or use a CPA offer if it has a banner.

Oh and one last thing you can also add a link with your keyword in your article to the amazon product. Just highlight your keyword and link it to the amazon product.

And even though you have an amazon affiliate banner you can still add a CPA offer within your article or replace one of the banners with it.

On a SIDE NOTE. When you spin your article remember you are going to have to add your keyword into it still..... So mines "Xbox live subscription" ill have to add it into my article since it most likely wont have it.

One of my articles has 556 words and I have my Keyword in it about 14 times, but that's with Headers, Titles and as well it's in the article itself. It gives me a Keyword density of 2.3% which is great. You don't want it to high or it spammy.

So that's it for Today Folks. Hopefully it helps you out on your journey to making for first $ or at least your first Blog.

Day 5 We will talk about Back Links and all those related things :)

Also later today ill make that example spun article to show you how its done.
