Why would somebody buy like canada.me.uk or .co.uk like it doesn't make sense. I know all of them are taken but why would somebody buy something like these or may be brazil.de or brazil.fr ?? Are they using them because people search for them and one can make money with a site? or for flipping? Like carinsurance.fr or .de or any other makes sense. But canada.de or even .com.au? I would like to know why?

People want to steal this type of domains to sell it for a higher price in the future as most likely people would want to buy that type of domain.

It is rather impossible to know all things about domain names, some domain names may not have value in your eyes but it may have values in others eyes.
