The CTR is about average, the views for the articles is good, especially if its all search engine generated

Being a partner at one popular article publishing site and having tons of data on this, I'd agree that your CTR's are about average. Most of our 20k+ authors get between 2.5% and 4% CTR.

A few who are very talented though get up over 10% CTR on a regular basis, but they're the exception rather than the rule.

For that you've got to be able to write an article that does 2 things, first, solve a problem or answer a question to establish credibility with the reader, and second, pose a new question near the end of the article then promise to answer it with your resource box link.

That formula of "give then get" works like mad, and seems simple enough to do, but it seems like 99.9% of article writers miss it.

Your traffic volume is really good though. I don't know what sort of promotions you may have done for your articles (if any), but pulling in over 1k views in the first 30 days for an article means you're doing something right. Either great keyword choices, or solid promo/link building/bookmarking tactics, or both, but whatever you're doing you are on the right track with it.
