Just created a Donation Site... Here is a question

I think I like to give them options for the purpose this project. Like it was suggested, I will give them options like $5, $10, $25, $50, $100. Someone has accepted to build a scaling wp plugin for this purpose. If someone can build this faster for me, I wouldnt mind. All is geared towards making this project a success. I am out to help the needy and of course those chaps who really wanna get back to school but do not have the money. I request the contribution of all here to making this a success. Thank you so far.

Cant you do that with a custom paypal button? Its easy, and you can just put in the codes to your template and that will work perfectly right.

that i just the point. i can't. the truth is i cant code and paypal doesn't allow my country

Have you seen the wounded warrior project? You can get some ideas from there. They set up a 19.00 recurring donation

I wanted to donate there, but they don't have paypal which is a tad bad

I think you are doing a good job, but you have to make things more transparent.
Put up some LIVE donations that are being made by people to you for the children, put up some real names of places you are donating the money to
Else others would think that you are cheating them

Also put up various options of payment and once an x amount of payment is made send a soft copy certificate stating that the person made a donation and that his / her donation would be given to a charitable trust

Put up some video testimonials

Make things look more authenticated, by putting up certificatesif you have aquired any from the govenment

As of the amount is concerned - just leave a blank space for some one to enter the amount they like or give a drop down list which starts from $5 and ends in $101

unfortunately I don't really agree with these models as most of the time it does not work out for the people involved.

On the other hand there is a lot of information missing. Such as the organizations that you are working with? Which country the funds are going to? Live call person? More contact information?

Also the link you gave for donation gets flagged by google chrome when I open it up. Another note that this is a Woo themes generic layout without changing the images that come with it.

If this is not real please prove it other wise you are making the world a worse place then it already is.

Well I added the scaled donations like he requested...I still feel this site has a ways to go though, considering none of the donation button image options in the plugin used even exist. All broken images.

Maybe directing the donation form to http rather than https would prevent the security issue in most browsers, but I don't know if the form would still work then; haven't tried it.

When I enter a donation site I prefer entering the amount myself (especially if its paypal as I may have an amount on my paypal that I am not too concerned in giving away maybe 5$ or maybe even 50$)

This tells me I have a whole lot of work. I am thankful to you all for your suggestion. I will put up those information. I am working on it.
