Just bought ScrapeBox

I just bought ScrapeBox, My girl needed a little money so it consumed a little money from what i intended to be a Xrumer Buy. yeah, she ruined it for me, but whatever,

So I got scrapebox, and im quite happy with it, i am only fiddling with it, the proxie scraper, just getting things prepared for my little escapade.

I was wondering if you guys had any advice . i know i need private proxies and a few other things if im going to run it successfully.

and thanks to the guy that built it. great program!

There could be a book of advice, I have spent countless hours playing with it. Watch out it gets addicting once you start to really figure things out!

It is just like anything else spend time with it, find what does work and does not. Keep your files and go back and test what work.

This thing is just awesome, other than building links it help me with SO much, it checks pretty much anything you can imagine with bullet speed.
 
Congratz , where can i send the medal of honor ? :) Well there are many good posts how to Top your Performance with Scrapebox. Should easily be found with search function. Good posts from yukinari84 atleast and many others how to get max comments approved.

yeah, i hear its addictive, im going to try and not get too addicted to it, thank you for your advice too, im going to back everything up and do a trial and error process now.

yeah, i bought it too..the problem is i'm unable to harvest the proxies. is there any good paid proxies for using with scrapebox. i was told that proxybonanza have discontinued proxy support to scrapebox.

your suggestions are welcome.
 
Yeah, sadly i am not clever enough to use scrapebox efficiently, seems alot of effort to get it set up right. I am lazy :)

I want an automated tool, to automate the setup of the automated tool.

well... the proxy scraper is working fine for me. im not sure why you cannot get it to work, im running it on 64bit windows 7 as well.

lol yeah, sometimes i get lazy, but, once its setup, you don't have to do much else, so its kinda automated
 
the problem is it says 404 error for atleast 5 of the 8 inbuild proxy servers. Out of the other 3 it harvests 2000+ IPs. then again on testing proxies, I am not able to get more than a dozen proxy IPs. Once, I start using these 12 IPs, and scrape, I get timed out error.

is there a better paid proxies that i can use with scrapebox?
 
Do not use the proxies in S.B they are pretty much worthless.

Look in the proxie section of this forum to find paid proxies..

Use paid proxies to post with, and free proxies to scrape.

There was a post here that had a link to some proxie forums on those forums there are list of proxies. Grab several of those list even the old ones, put them into S.B clean them. You will have over 200 working proxies to use for scraping.

I spent countless hours trying to figure this out, now it has been giving to you.

If you dont want to spend time cleaning and looking for proxies user proxygo on this forum sales some of the best I have found for dirt cheap it is like $110 for life time. He give you about 1k per day you could use those for scraping and post alike.

I have some more tips I will post later, play with this first.. will post some cool stuff when I get a sec.

If you have old sites couple of years old that you could stand to hose up, practice on those first. It does take time and patience to get the hang of it, I have a lot time invested and just now seeing the full power (probably just touching the surface really) it is crazy really. You have to think through what your doing.

Yes, go gently. Use good proxies. Reply to .gov manually, using a browser.
 
Just enable the crashdump logging plugin its awesome. No need to scream after scraping 100k links and bam crash its all gone.

Now it gets recovered quite well so far as I've seen at least.

See all those people selling private proxies for like $1 per month?

They're http proxies unless noted otherwise. So you should get something like,

1.222.333.456:5678

I.E.

ipaddressofprox:rttheproxyisusing

Its easy enough to load that into scrapebox. :o

I am pretty sure there is someone selling scrapebox proxies here. I think it was mrtornado. You can get 10 proxies for $30/month and they really seem worth it.
 
It's good software, I bought it and played around with it and I'm starting to really realise its potential. The proxy scraper is fine for me, the old one was quicker but the new one checks if they are working with Google so that's good. I recommend looking at the addons.
 
I bought scrapebox about 4 or 5 months ago and got my private proxies from a guy from the forum called mrtornado.

Works very well and I never had any problem (got 10 of them).

Scrapebox is great because it's as powerfull as your brain (i.e. idiots won't use it properly, which let plenty of space for people using it cleverly).
