Just bought long tail pro lite version for $17

I have been looking for a new keyword research tool since Market Samurai jumped the shark. Some marketeer just sent me a offer through jvzoo for Long Tail Pro (lite) for $17, so I took a chance and bought it.

About to check it out, just letting you guys and gals know about the price drop.

What's the dif between the light & regular version? I wanted to buy the regular version a year ago but the developer was not flexible at all with the price.

I would probably only want pro but too expensive considering I have market samurai unf & keyword pro.

Which do u like best & why did u buy long tail pro. Seems like none of them really have a seo competition which is what I want.

I already have market samurai for competition. It just went to bing for its keyword stats, and it is all crap. Searches in google that show 17,000 a month will show 35 searches in bing.

Long tail pro at $17 was a good choice for me to grab as a keyword module, and that includes lifetime updates. The difference between the two is so I can compare it to what MS says I have in Bing,.

The pro version just does the seo competition, track rankings, and search for domains, which I can do manually or with MS and ranktracker that I already own.

It doesn't have proxy support so I'm pretty sure I just wasted $17.

What kind of SEO tool doesn't have proxy support. This boggles the mind.

I have been using the trial version and I clicked on upgrade to Pro version and the price is now $17 for the Pro+Platinum version.

It doesn't have proxy support so I'm pretty sure I just wasted $17.

What kind of SEO tool doesn't have proxy support. This boggles the mind.

Apps built with Adobe Air don't seem to have proxy support... They use whatever proxy you have configured in your "system proxy settings" (varies on how you set it with Win/Mac). Pretty weak, really.

Its funny I got long tail pro. Then I got the extra videos which are a good walk through. Since I haven't bought anything for SEO for a while I missed the whole up sell thing... now im thinking about buying the 17 monthly so I can get the KC keyword competition numbers since the videos feature it in the "how to".

I have market samurai also its good to have a comparing software that gives you numbers to use for developing sites..

Im going to be busy catching up on posts... lol. ive been away a while.
