I see different people here in "SEO -Link building" Section offering various paid Link building and Google Ranking Services. Some claim a lot about their service as Best Link building service, best network, blah blah and some say guarantee results. So I feel like Why they don't make their own website related to affiliate or Lead Generation or Ad sense and earn more with continuous income every month rather than offering services for others.

    Anyone with same thought?

Most sellers in the marketplace already earn continuous income. They're just selling services to make even more cash or to help out others in the community.

Selling services or products isn't the only source of income for some people, ya know?

Some people prefer to do what they enjoy. Can't say this for a fact, but I bet, some of them hate building income producing sites but love doing SEO work.

Just my 2 cents on the subject.

People earn more by offering service than having their own site.
Having own site requires continuous maintenance, thus requires time. Its too hard for a guy to maintain 100 sites even they got a team. This income is not permanent, if their SEO method failed due to update they loose income. If their SEO method failed they provide another method and can earn money the next day.

And most of the service providers here diversify their income and offering service is one of their income method.

Because SEO and affiliate marketing isn't for everyone. Some people just aren't as patient to work on a site for months before it breaks even. Offering an SEO service is about knowing what works and selling it. Also, at least the guys I know selling in the BST section do have their own sites and pretty well off with them.

I think it would be clear that todays services are their yesterdays most effective techniques.

I doubt they'd sell their best secrets!

Thought provoking question... Funny to see some replies that 'they make lots of money, and want to make more' With the exception of just a few, I doubt this is the case with all the sellers.

one of the reasons could be:

return on investment (incl. time). Some might find it easier to build a network of sites, get them to a PR and them sell links/articles. It could also mean that the seller isn't interested in building their own affiliate revenue stream, for whatever reasons it might be.

To assume that a BST seller has 'more' knowledge than you, makes more money than you simply raises your expectations and when the service falls short, it leaves things messy. As with any environment.. you have people who make money via some affiliate niche, others provide services. Simple as that. But ideally speaking someone who already makes money would rather put their money into improving their revenue stream rather than start a BST which would only serve as a distraction to their core business model... but then... some are good at multitasking.

Well, firstly they may not enjoy making sites, maintaining them etc. It is a long process to get a site up and earning a decent income.

With a BST you are obtaining money very quickly and directly rather than waiting months for affiliate payouts etc. which may not be ideal for them.

Or they may just want to give their good SEO plan to BHW members so they can benefit too.

    Cheers.

If I found a method to make money (which I have) I would keep it close to my chest and I won't tell anyone unless if I do it won't impact my ability to earn. I would invest all my time into making money off this strategy and realistically for me to start selling my SEO services I would need to be convinced that I will earn more spending my time on the services then I would on my strategy - which I'm not.

The best SEO people don't have clients, they have sites.
