So,

I have seen the product list increase in the DO NOT SHARE LIST here on BHW. Wasnt BHW supposed to be a underground, share EVERYTHING forum? I have a feeling that BHW is turning into another DP. What do you think..If you dont want to answer here.. please use the POLL.

Then why dont BHW all of the downloads section entirely, if they see products being shared here as intellectual property theft. Why restrict only some products to be listed here?

Blackhatworld isnt about sharing warez or things like that its a discussion forum. And never was about the downloads they are just a bonus, and anything on the Do not share list is our own members stuff so they are not shared for that reason, WE DONT SHARE OUR OWN USERS STUFF unless they want too.

bhw is about making money using blackhat tactics and methods. The downloads that are provided in the forum are essentially meant to aid these methods. The downloads ARE NOT what this forum is about. If that is what you feel, I am afraid that you never really understood what bhw is all about.

@ harro- On a slightly different note, dont you think harro that more and more people are signing up on this forum just to prevent their products from being shared. For instance, the thread "[REQ] 500$/day for 20min work" saw a post from it's creator who signed up just last month. I am not trying to say that the creator did sign up for this purpose explicitly, but well, it could be.

yes, but if the member becomes inactive then it gets taken off the DNL.

I don't understand.. this isn't really new. A lot of people here have FTF (Fuck Tard Forum is what I'm calling them) accounts. A lot of people know this forum exists and like to leech off of us.. like I've said in other posts.. as our traffic/popularity grows, more shit bags are going to come in.

The forum is still everything it was when I first joined, there's just more people who make it hard to share valuable information in the forum. What will happen inevitable is we'll probably end up taking more mods in the future to control the influx of retards who can't read the rules before posting and people who try to give the forum a bad name.

The downloads are user shared. If someone feels something is valuable, they'll share it. I'll admit that some people only share things to flex their e-peens with the number of thanks they have. Once someone requests that a download be removed from the list.. there's nothing you can do about that. It's their content and they simply don't want it being shared.

I think the download section should be closed permanently to be honest, it is just attracting leeches that don't contribute nothing, and yes sometimes when i look at some of the threads here it really resembles to DP sadly enough.

I still love this place very much, especially the archive of this forum it is filled with gems, but if it was my board i would have pulled the download section a long time ago, you can find the warez everywhere on the internet.

And yes i have used the download section more then once

but still i would not lose any sleep over it if it got closed, i really think it would be better for the forum.

@ OP: If you think that BHW is all about sharing everything, you are here for the wrong reasons. That's the definition of a warez forum. This isn't a warez forum. It's a black hat seo forum. To learn black hat seo. Talk about black hat seo.

I don't like seeing threads like this--all it really tells me is that you just are here for the downloads, not to contribute or learn anything.

See no point being dishonest even I use the downloads section and yes I do have a dp(read FTF) account. See, if I do find an interesting share here in the downloads section, yes I do download it, try it, and then buy the original.
Having said that, I must say that I wont loose sleep either if the downloads section was gone but I am not sure how feasible it is to remove the d/l section. I guess one way out would be to limit the visibility of the section to people with newbie status. just a thought.

I don't know why people get so worked up about this. I just ignore the [Req] and [Get] threads....problem solved! Everything that is worth downloading is on the DNS list so there is no reason to troll that area unless you are bored etc.

Let them trade their shitty ebooks...it keeps them out of the important threads. BHW is just another rung on the ladder when it comes to people looking for downloads. You have the warez sites, then you come to BHW to get the WF, DP and "guru" downloads and then you go to sites abc and xyz to get the stuff that is on the DNS list here.

The difference between the download section and a warez site is only the best stuff gets shared here and you don't have to worry about virus as much. A warez site allot of crap gets shared that you waste your time or you get a nasty virus and loose a day of work.

It's not the download section that's a problem, it's the content being shared. I only look over there for the tools/posters/etc being shared, because some of them are pretty good.

Perhaps if we closed off downloads to those retarded E-books people can't seem to get enough of, there would be less leechers. I don't think the section is the problem, I just think it's what's being shared.

The problem is that you are attracting the wrong people imho, these are not contributors but leeches that open "my mom is going to raped by my neighbors dog if i don't get $500- at the end of the month, can you help me to make money fast" threads.

That is not the kind of members you're looking for if you ask me, but i guess it serves a purpose

The lure of money making is going to keep these people coming here. But instead of ignoring these threads, 400 people flame them and they stay at the top of the list for a week. To me, there are bigger fish to fry around here than worrying about posts that you can simply ignore. It's easier to change how you browse the forum than it is to make people post the way you would like them to...at least that is my way of thinking.
