    Hey, before i go to bed i wanted to share something i did few days ago and increased my all websites income by decent amount

    not sure about you, but i use 1-2 images for my every post, alt tag as keyword, and because of that ...

    I receive about 25% of my traffic through google images.

    Such traffic doesn't convert nicely( if at all) as people are still looking my websites images still being on google website (google is displaying my images in frame)

    so what i did - i inserted frame breaking script into my website, and now all users who clicks on my image on "google images" are redirected to my website. Simple thing increased my earnings.

    i do believe many people are already using it, but those who don't - could find this useful.

    not sure if i can paste frame breaking script here, but you may find it on internet. It is just one line of php code.

    p.s sorry for my English (third language)

    it's okay, your english is fine and is understandable.

    let me add that it may not convert nicely these traffic that we can get from image searches, but it can help with branding and recognition.

    now if you have a website on a certain niche and have a hard to remember name, you should get most of the image search results to brand your name/site/listings etc.

    dont forget to watermark your images too!

    agreed

    point is : why would anyone want to leave image traffic behind. If you can - why not redirect it to your website instead leaving your image viewers on gooooogle page.

    yesterday received +4 (compared to average) clickbank sales, and this is because image traffic. Even though image traffic converts like shit, it still converts.

    Watermarking is on my "to do list"

    thanks

    I would recommend using iframe breaker + geoIP redirection.

    For example, you could do the following.

    1. Break frame (JavaScript)
    1b: Use PHP to get refer ... if match google.com/images then perform following steps

    2. Use MaxMind JavaScript/PHP based IP lookup
    3. Pass country variable to redirect script
    4. Wait 1-3 seconds before redirecting to appropriate offer based on country (JavaScript and or Meta Refresh)

    This is definitely a good tip, and it is used by hundreds of websites already (particularly porn sites). When someone visits your website through Google Images, the image is highlighted while the rest of the page is in a darkened background. No one even sees your ads when you do that.

    I'm not sure that this will result in a huge conversion rate, but at least now they'll be seeing your ads rather than just your pictures.

    For people asking for the code, if you are using self hosted Wordpress blog simply download the "Break Out of Frames" plugin, it should do the trick.

    Edit:
    For simple HTML sites this should work too (Not mine, taken from Google)

    Paste this in the <HEAD> section of your site.
    Code:
    script type=?text/javascript?>
    <!?
    if (top.location!= self.location) {
    top.location = self.location.href
    }
    //?>
    </script>

    According to the Adsense TOS, can I insert an iframe breaker script in my pages or not?

    But buddy, iframe or no iframe on your website that does not make images on google.com/images links to your website simple source of the photo is your website link and Google is using that to send users to your page.

    A copy and paste from wiki pedia for us "new-to-the-gamers" .... thanks for your patience

    A framekiller (or framebuster or framebreaker) is a piece of JavaScript code that prevents a Web page from being displayed within a frame. A frame is a subdivision of a Web browser window and can act like a smaller window. This kind of script is often used to prevent a frame from an external Web site being loaded from within a frameset without permission, often as part of clickjacking attack.
