Just A Little Advice Needed On The 301 Redirect Method.

I have actually been stalking you guys for a while (i know weird) just learning and reading, but i just wanted a little advice on the 301 redirection method. Basically i have


a fresh domain that i bought, which has the main keyword in with a "z" on the end.


The method i used was having 4 old domains i never used which are all 1 year plus old, I 301 redirected all of them to my new fresh domain. (bear in mind these domain names have


nothing to do with the niche i tried to rank for)


I sent 50 to 80 SAPE links to the 301 redirects per each domain. (Total: 264) All these SAPE Links have the anchor texts of the keywords i am targeting. There are 5 keywords


targeted. (so around 52 links per keyword) It might be useful to note I checked the SAPE links where indexed in google and are pr2 to pr4 links.


I then sent 1500 diversified links to each 301 redirect. In total 6000 GSA Links (They all had different anchors)


I will also note there was no velocity with this, I basically just blasted them at the 301 redirects. (The Gsa Campaign took 2 days to build the links)


There are only 500 Links out of the 6000 GSA links that have been indexed yet.


OnPage:


I Have the main Keyword in the H1


My keyword density is 4.5% (for main keyword)


I have a video and email capture form on the website also.




Google has indexed my site and it has been 7 days with no movement and I have not been in the top 300 of google for any of my keywords.


I will also note this was my test to see if i could get the 301 redirect to work. Which is why i picked tough keywords.


My keywords results total are as follows. I know this doesn't actually tell you the toughness of the keywords, but from my initial looking they are very tough.


Keyword 1 : 509,000,000 (main keyword)
Keyword 2 : 535,000,000
Keyword 3 : 978,000,000
Keyword 4 : 1,670,000,000
Keyword 5 : 2,340,000,000


Now I know the keywords are tough but I thought at least i would get to page 3 or 4. The purpose of this test was to see actually how powerful is this technique. I am also sorry if i have been over thought this and packed the information but I just wanted to see if any of you guys could just give me a clue to where i might have gone wrong.

Way too high. Because of this you haven't gained rank. Go 1.3-1.9%
You have been penalized.

Just lower it and ping your domain or request a re-crawl. They will reconsider your rank again. Give it 1 week after updating.

7 days? meeh you need t wait more time to see some movement on the SERPS
create steady links trough out this week and see what result do you have
act accordingnly

What is the normal time frame for this kind of method? At a best guess. And Thanks

I normally do blog networks and GSA, this kind of thing is the unknown in terms of 301 redirects, so thanks you guys.

OK I have a Brand New domain with z at the end and it is my money site. I 301 a brand new website with High PR links for my 3 keywords and few other mixed links (longtail generic naked url) to my moneysite. After a week it ranked and all 3 keywords are in top 10 and hanging there for more than a week now.
Now I only 301 1 website for a test and it is working really well even though my density is a bit high around 15% but I am building more links for diversification.

My another old money website with links already on it, I 301 a new website with high pr and other links, kept density to around 4-5%. It took 2 weeks to see my rankings at 100 or so positions still there, I am planning to add more links or more domains

So wait a few days and your ranking might shoot up. Use majestice to check if all your 301 domains have stated to pass juice to your to your money site or not. Add more links or domains and test it out.

IMO;

1) Keyword density is too high
2) Not enough keyword diversity
3) Not enough links to the 301
4) Not sure about the PA/DA - but it should be 50+
5) Not enough 301s

Otherwise you are on the right track.

Thanks Linkking, I've had a look at majesticseo, it seems only 2/3 of the sape links have been seen by majestic, but that could be down to the webmasters blocking majestics bot. In any case my 4 domains have been seen as pointing to my money site, so i guess i'll just have to wait as you guys say. And thanks Linkking for sharing your experience with 301's.

How much keyword diversity should i have? the 6000 GSA links should be doing that?

How many links do you normally fire? 10's of thousands?

I cant check my PA/DA At the moment but that was a factor i did not include thankyou.

In terms of 301's i thought 4 301's was quite a number how many do you normally point to your money site?

Density = 1%
Diversity = 500+ longtail/LSI
301s = between 10 - 100
Backlinks = 10s of thousands - if not hundreds of thousands. The more the better.
