You probably know this already, but not everyone does. So i'll share this just in case someone may find it helpful :)

You can geographically target your searches just by adding
    Code:
    &gl=us
to the end of your search url. The one in the code means "And Geographic Location = United States". You can change us to any other geographic location like nz, cn, uk, au, es... whatever. Example:
    Code:
    http://www.google.co.nz/#hl=en&source=hp&q=cheese&aq=f&aqi=&aql=&oq=&gs_rfai=&fp=b12d6006b8f7d97c[B]&gl=cn[/B]
A search for cheese targetted to China.

What's this useful for? Well I find it most useful for seeing who your competition is specifically in which country, so if you want to get into geotargetted internet marketing game, this tip is rather convenient to say the least.

I know it's nothing amazing, but it's still useful none the less :)

or you can use the local google from a local proxy server, which is better as the IP will be local; like use a French proxy server and type google.fr.

    Code:
    &tbs=ctr:countryUS&cr=countryUS
<-- thats an even better one you can use. Just switch US with whichever country code you want.

Thank you bloggerdon, it's these small contributions and small pointers that always seem to be found useful at some point.

It can also be helpful if you're scraping URL's using scrapebox from Google - if you need country specific URLs, then the above will be a perfect solution!

I appreciate the little tip! Thank you ... :)
