core updates can be about anything (except backlinks I think, the backlinks-related ones are called spam updates), so it's hard to say while the update is ongoing.
We have to wait for it to finish and then analyze 100s of sites / pages that got penalized and compare them against 100s of sites / pages that got ranked in place of the tanked ones, and then we'll know what google targeted with this update.

One of my sites tanked that was page one and I am wondering or think during this update if a site historically ranked in the past, for no reason they get a advantage.Has anyone seen changes in the website traffic after the update? I got a sudden drop in organic traffic and ranking. Sad.

Too early to say much, but usually with these core updates,
The biggest shifts show up in how Google evaluates relevance and intent not just technical signals.
Will be interesting to see if this one hits more informational sites or local results.

One of my sites that took a bad nose dives is starting to come back, there was some changes last night for sure. My homepage is still completely gone but indexed. All of this volatility was last night.
My main site I was on a browser and saw i dropped from 4th to 9th and 10th.
I logged into 2 different account with same IP and I was 4th still, I cant tell if I dropped or not since different browsers showing different results. None of the accounts I checked have the GSC attached to it.
