Jumping out of planes

I'd actually prefer to have an instructor the first time. Its kinda weird, but it would be a plus if they are hot lol

Since almost all of the instructors are male, you could have that fantasy for free in the men's room at Wal-Mart.

I've never been skydiving but when I looked into it their was a way to do it without ever doing a tandem. I think you can take a course called Accelerated Free Fall (AFF) which is just a really intense full day course but then you get your license and can skydive without ever doing a tandem. Don't quote me on any of this, it is just something to look into if you weren't already aware.

btw had nightmares for years afterward because I always think of the things that could've gone wrong, but someone died the day I was there so that probably attributed.

Been thinking of doing it again to get passed it.
 
what should happen? the plane wont crash, youll jump anyway :-P

I just thought of a new market. I'll share it with youse cause you're my mates. Sky diver diapers for first time jumpers. What do you think?

I did a two day course to do a fixed line jump in the UK (ie no tandem, but no free fall, the chute opens itself). Day 1 was like 7 or 8 hours of tuition, then day 2 was the jump itself. This was about 5 years ago, so don't quote me on it.

You have to do 3 perfect fixed line jumps in a row and then you can do a free fall by yourself. That's harder than you'd imagine!

It was awesome - have never been so glad to be alive when I touched the ground!
 
This is one of those kind of things that makes you question whether the instinct of a person really is to survive :p

Still, I'd like to try it some day. If something goes wrong and you die, you won't feel anything about it anyway. Hitting the ground after falling from such a height at full speed is probably an instant death.
 
I could never understand the psychology of anyone wanting to jump out of a perfectly good airplane.

I made it this far, when the good lord decides takes me out, he is gonna have to hit a running target, I ain't volunteering...

I am the kind of guy who feels lucky getting the last ticket for the Titanic. I'd rather be the disjointed guy behind him.

Its not that dangerous, no matter what you're gonna land on the ground after all. :-)
 
i fly small planes, but jumping out of one bothers me. there was a certain plane i wanted to be checked out to fly, and i was chatting with the instructor. this plane REQUIRED us to use parachutes just to fly it. i was outathere immediately lol.
but hey, if that's your thing, go for it! do more of it. why not.
