Jump in Ahrefs DR.

Hey guys,

I've been given the keys to our companies website and it's about 2 weeks old.

When I pulled a report on it 2 weeks ago, the DR was 0.7

I didn't make any changes to it except disavow a few spammy looking backlinks and in the space of a week it saw a jump to 16.

Purely from a reporting aspect, any idea what might have made the difference?

The links got crawled from ahrefs

Well it could be that the backlinks that were made earlier, got crawled by Ahrefs now.

Did you see the increase in referring domains? If yes then you have obtained some good backlinks

Seems our dev team may have created a few customer URL's for different purposes and the link juice from them moved it.

Not complaining, but seemed strange nonetheless

Check in your GSC download the links see if they’re pbns, or real links it’s possible someone shot cheap pbns and suddenly ahrefs got a boost
