Can't even count how many times my reputation and "blue name" have helped me land clients worth several grand a month when competing with those who lacked such attributes.
Besides, now you're just being presumptuous which is a rather unappealing quality in a so-called professional. Reputation is important wherever you go. Perhaps you can't quantify it in an offline setting, but it's always there, online and offline, for a reason. Learn that, and maybe you'll realize how your asinine comments affect you and how others perceive you. For example - when everyone else is attacking you and you're the only one fighting back, maybe it's the others who are correct. Anyway, have a swell day!
