An Introduction

As you can tell by my status, I'm a noob here. I've been lurking for about a month now, and I decided to quit my part-time job at KFC. This sounds crazy to many, but I can afford to do so since I'm still in high school. I was projected to make paychecks of $400 a paycheck at that job, and I hope to continue to make money within that ballpark.

I don't have a fully fleshed out plan, but I can summarize the operation I'm running right now. I bought a subscription to GMT2, and I currently have an account in the auto niche with 130 followers. Needless to say, it isn't much. I'm also a part of the Quora Partner program, but I'm currently waiting to see if the questions I asked yielded any results (they should, they have substantial views.)

With the capital I currently have*, my plan is to buy myself a laptop for my operations, and then start a YouTube channel that explains the fundamentals of SEO and making money online. I also intend on starting a blog on WordPress or Blogger that would serve as a landing pad for all my advertisements.

An Angel Investor Appears

For those unfamiliar with investing and finance, an angel investor is basically a high net-worth individual that provides massive initial capital for a start-up, typically in exchange for substantial equity in the company. That is what I've encountered in a similar fashion. A friend that I haven't spoken to in years has two accounts that, when combined, amount to over 260k followers! I sent him a DM on Instagram explaining to him the basics of internet marketing, and he's on board with monetizing his accounts. I'm not sure why he hasn't done so already, but hey :)

Having that many followers isn't an asset in and of itself. If you take a look at the website SocialTradia, you'll find many accounts with followers of similar numbers that have the most pathetic engagement you've ever seen. Seriously. We're talking about accounts with 860k that consistently yield maybe 6 comments per post. This isn't the case with my partner. I won't disclose his username for obvious reasons, but it doesn't matter. The point is that his numbers are an asset sent from heaven.

It gets better.

Because accounts with the same amount of followers but one percent of the engagement are valued by the market at $4,000, it's reasonable to assume that selling his account as is would yield about $20,000. But I'm not naive. While it's true that if you extrapolate his account should be worth about 20,000, it's probably pretty fucking hard to find any buyer that would cough up that type of money for an Instagram account. Still, there's always a possibility.

No, the game plan is to monetize his accounts to generate enough capital to scale. And if he sells his account with 60k followers for quick cash, we can do that very, very quickly.

In short, the plan is to gain revenue from:
  1. CPA's. This includes surveys and the like.
  2. Landing pages with advertisements.
  3. Buying aged Instagram accounts en masse and then upgrading from GMT2 to Jarvee in order to realize the potential gains from 100+ niche accounts.
  4. Whatever other secrets we pick up along the way.
I know the idea is that I'm supposed to keep this hush-hush, but I don't think disclosing this specific information compromises my money-making potential. Quite frankly, I'm happy if anyone gets anything from this initial post, and from subsequent additions to this thread. I'll be updating weekly. Hope you guys enjoy. I know I will.
