[JOURNEY] Using my knowledge to try Faceless channels

It's inspiring to read your story, I want to start the same so I have a question.

I plan to start a few video channels with me in them, but I would like to try a faceless video channel as well.

Regarding the niche for the shorts faceless channel, I have no idea what to do.

Do you think it's a good idea to launch dozens of different shorts on the channel like crime, sports, mysteries, facts etc. and then based on what people react the best focus on that in future videos? Or mix it up all the time?

Or maybe not use the specific niche but use the same type of videos, like 'top 10' videos, 'did you know' videos, 'you won't believe this' videos etc.?

Thanks :)
The answer is really simple : put yourself in the position of the watcher what would you prefer a channel with mixed up stuff or a channel that covers only one topic ?
here is my point of view from two different perspectives.
As a user when I watch a video that I like before hitting the sub button I always go and check two things :
- is the channel covering the same stuff / same niche (++ for them)
- is the channel posting frequently (which means I can expect some new stuff every week / day/ month...)
if all of the above are met they will get my sub, I think 90% of what you would consider as a good audience will do the same.
As a YouTuber it is also simple check the same things above and make sure I do them for my channel , so basically stick to one niche and post frequently with a clear schedule.

Thanks, appreciate it.

Do you have a recommendation based on your experience, what length works the best - in case you noticed that it makes a difference - is 30 secs enough, or should be more/less?

I recommend 30 sec or more, but what's important is retention, what I noticed is that YouTube will test your video with 10-20 views when you hit the publish button if you get high retention + a good like/dislike ratio YouTube will push it to hundreds and again if the same stats are still good you will go to thousand and so on, and that's why some of my videos went viral. Also make sure that the title and the first 3 seconds of the video are attention-grabbing, if your video is good but the first 3 sec are not they will never know because they will scroll to the next one.
one of my videos with good retention and like/dislike ratio was not picked by YouTube so I thought There was something else missing but then it was picked after one month and went viral getting like 10k views/day

800++ in one day and a half I'll hit 6K probably later Today, when I started this I was telling myself I need to reach 10K in 2025 but now if this continues who knows what 2025 will be like?
Anyone have similar results in a similar time frame or I was just lucky?

Have you thought about driving traffic to a website through your videos? Maybe just having a text in the video? Of xxxxx.com. I wonder how many visitors 200k views would generate

I could , but this means more work for me also I know myself I can easily get distracted by something else . I want to achieve one goal at a time first I want to monetize the channel with ads and then I'll see I can make more from other stuff.

Very interesting reading. The followers are going up, are you editing manually all the videos?

of course I m ! not willing to spend a penny from my poket for things I can do myself, I'll only reinvest the channel's money once I make it
I wish you good luck, and I would definitely like to be informed about any developments.
Thank you so much, make sure to watch the thread !

We are still in the game it will be another 800 subs in two days again, if it continues this way maybe next week I'll hit 10K what do you guys think !
quick question also for you guys :
how much do you think 10K channel with 0 copyrights issue and with organic traffic from YouTube is worth ?

I don't know TBH, but I think it's better to sell it when it's making money, that way you can sell it for much more.

For example, for $1k per month I'd ask at least $20k. It depends largely on the niche and how easy is to make videos of the same kind for the new owner. So you could get less but you could also get much more.

I m 100% sure I can show anyone how to do what I m doing in 1h or less and they can replicate what I m doing for the next 5 years, Like I mentioned before I m in a really broad niche so there are unlimited topics that you can cover. Not planning to sell it but I just wanted to know how much it is worth still if the channel is making 1k consistently I would rather invest 300$ to automate it make a net income of 700$ on autopilot that I m sure it's going to grow every month than sell it for 20k.
