I'm using affiliate programs to achieve my goal. My goal was originally $1M this year but I had nothing to start off with so there was a big delay at the beginning. After some big health problems and drive to improve my life I've decided to get back into IM fulltime. I'm 18 and heading into university for Business Management. I'd like to make money on the side while I'm at university.

I've made $xx,xxx before, but this was when I was 13-14 years old so I'm a little bit out of the game.

Let's see what I have to start off with. This journey started a few days ago, but I'm only posting now.

- Amazon associates accounts in a lot of countries
- New authority site I've just made in a not so specific niche (you all know what the item is), with a SSL cert
- 5 Articles, 2 posted so far
- 10 Tumblr blogs with many external backlinks, none of those useless PA28 ones, which have all their links deleted when you re-register them
- 7 PBN domains, some of which I found myself and some from a user here on the forums (one is 301ing at the moment)

What is the strategy?
At first when the site is new, I'll have next to no authority so I'll need to target easy keywords. This is not that profitable, so I'm targeting a combination of keywords ranging from 2400 to 50 searches per month.
- Making sure that keywords are being properly targeted and evenly distributed
- Making sure that the website is fully optimized for Google in terms of sitemap, duplicate content, page speed, SSL, no overoptimization
- Setting up the site in a way that spreads link juice equally only on pages that matter
- Using automated tools to make backlinks to every post for indexing purpose without me even thinking about it, in a non-intrusive way (content syndication, social posts)
- Interlinking with exact anchors only
- Web 2.0s and PBNs for that very necessary boost (I will be using only my own pbn for all projects unless I'm able to find a provider that is clearly safe and clear of pharma, game hacks, adult and gambling)
- Link diversification is unknown for now, I will learn as I go on

If Amazon doesn't work out then I will move on to Clickbank or some other things that pay well.

I have just started the process or link building using GSA to all my auto post properties. I don't know how good this is going to be because some of them are no follow. It's also worth noting that most GSA links do not get indexed at all. On Matthew Woodwards blog he did a case study with indexification and only 9% were indexed. With paid services it is more (Hour Indexing was 50%!).

I have also posted an article (top 10 list) for 720 monthly searches keyword. I also snuck in some other keywords in there but they are not the primary target for now. I'm jus hoping I rank for that as collateral.

I also edited my internal structure and homepage in order to accommodate the new page and built contextual internal links to the new post. It is very important because internal links are cheat codes to getting around exact match percentages. You can do as much exact as you want internally.

I don't know what type of backlinks I will be trying to make next, maybe I will just power up my auto posting up to the point where I can rank without backlinks. Suggestions are welcome, this is my first time ranking without spam.

I just updated my SPF records, set up a CDN and caching service, updated favicon and did some more website and plugin maintenance.

I am working to get my site at close to 100% on SeoSiteCheckup.com and GTMetrix. This is something I'm very happy to do as I believe the big G are big fans of user experience. You're much less likely to get a penalty if your website has unique content and USEFUL content, and your page speed is fast, mobile optimized etc.

I have always been a big fan of website optimization, obviously sometimes your theme doesn't permit you but I'll go as far as I can.

Looking to build some more links today.

Ordered more articles, waiting on them to come. I have extensively checked my SERPs and I'm nowhere to be found so I'm assuming this is the "sandbox" everyone is talking about. I have purchased a social signals gig from Fiverr which includes 200 Facebook shares, 200 Tweets, 500 LinkedIn shares and some Google + I dunno.

Next step is to completely uninstall my current caching service and install a far superior one. I don't like this one.

I read a lot of threads by @Leith and @lightningblitz and reinforced my knowledge on SEO and learned some cool tricks.

I now know exactly what to look for when scraping properties. Scraping properties is the way to go...why? Because you don't have to do any of the link building, it is already done for you.

Next thing I learned from experience after losing a few TF 30 expired domains...ICANN drops domains somewhere around 12AM PST 75 to 85 days after it expires.

Next off page steps are to register and set up 25 PBN domains, 100 Web 2.0s (I have a list of ones that allow re registrstion, found it by doing some spying hehehe). Only high RD and TF properties will be used. I'm also planning on registering 50 or more twitter properties. People say that Twitter is no follow but from what I have seen it seems to use t.co which is a 301 redirect. Please correct me if I am wrong.

I've been registering Twitters .. got a TF 33 one and a few in the 20s ...
Registered a Tumblr TF 14 with hundreds of unique IPs linking to it. Wait...why IPs and not domains? Because when a Tumblr hosted on the tumblr domain reposts something from a Tumblr offsite it counts as an external domain but the backlink gets deleted when you re-register the domain. Therefore if its on other IPs you can be assured that those links will stay. So when I say RD for tumblr I actually mean IPs.

Registered a new domain too from @Tove , TF 15.

Why am I doing all of this and not working on the site? I am. But I'm looking for long term profit so I'm trying to get as many properties as possible so I can rank any site in the future. I have deep pockets. Also I purchase 3 months Majestic which set me back $150 Canadian.

For the site I successfully configured cloudflare with W3TC, which is much better than WP Super Cache. Loading speed is 1.6 sec now uncached and less than 1 sec cached. So its all good.

Added recent comments widget so I can give more link juice to whichever posts I want whenever I want via the homepage. Genius.

Next step is going over two articles I've ordered and posting them. I'll do that tonight.

Long term goals (a month or two)
100 Tumblrs registered
100 Twitters registered with custom properties and support
30 PBNs registered

Keep in mind I'm competing for a household niche with e-commerce sites. I haven't seen any other affiliate sites.

This should be hard since its my first but I'm not giving up so easily. Im just hoping my site exits the sandbox with these Social Signals I bought from Fiverr.

Got really high and thought about the money coming in...I need to get these pbn, web2, twitter to be complete by sept. I will make sure that I get this because then I can rank any site...

I need like 200-500 articles to make a lot of money probably. My homepage started ranking for some keywords.

I've completely changed up my strategy ....

From now on, every single PBN domain I'll be registering, I won't be just looking for metrics. EVERY SINGLE DOMAIN I register will have to have superior links.
I've registered two domains with CNN links, and I have a crapload more being processed. I'm not trying to build a crap list here, I'm trying to build THE PBN. I'll be powering up all my links (e.g. the CNN pages) with a lot of 301 shortner spam and such to inflate the power, as CNN could naturally get thousands of links so it's not sketch.

This is how I'm going to try building Tumblr and Twitters too but I don't think it's as effective as with domains.

I paid $150 for a Majestic subscription, theres no reason I should be getting my domains from someone else anymore. I have all tools at my disposal to get these SUPERIOR pbn domains and power them up hugely.
I want people to drool if they see my PBN (they won't see it).

Also I posted more articles to my website.
My homepage is ranking for a bunch of keywords. I don't want the homepage to rank for those as it's just a summary of what the website is about and has good internal links. The more juice my homepage has, the better, but it's not about that page. Horrible for conversions.

Posted 2 Web 2.0 links today. Aggressively been checking serps for my keywords and for some of them I'm on page 3-5 already. The sandbox stage is done, I'm coming for you SERPS.
Keep in mind these aren't some shit Web 2.0's you'll find on Fiverr. These are all Web 2.0s that have over 10 redirecting domains and links that won't drop. Also some good trust flow metrics. I found all these myself.

Found 3 new domains which I registered all of them on my new registrar. Each one has TF 10 or higher, and each one has a link from major authority sites (RussiaToday, NBC, CNN, BuzzFeed, etc)

I am going to build the best PBN that ever existed in the history of PBNs.

I also started scraping more Web 2.0s today, I also want a big list of those. By the end of September I expect to be posting on my PBNs and get ranked ASAP.


Current number of PBN domains: 18
Current number of Web 2.0s: 8
Current number of Twitters: 6

All these properties have massive amounts of links to them, so if I point them all at my site it's going to have an impact for sure. However I discovered that I left a footprint with my domain WhoIS info which I will not be sharing here, let's just say private WhoIS doesn't actually mean private.

Tomorrow I have to validate a bunch of emails, it will be a pain in the ass. And of course scout for more Web 2.0s and domains as usual. Maybe articles will come in so I'll have some publishing to do.

Created 4 PBN sites today and that is all I will make for now because of my """insecurity""" with those domains.

I will be using them for a churn and burn site and I don't wanna use them on this site in case the PBN ever becomes compromised.

I will be dripping PBN links in a few weeks hopefully I'll have as many as 20 by then.

My mindset has changed recently. Drastically. I can't really share what it is as that would compromise my method.

This thread may see the opening of a few more sites soon. My old journey thread where I had like 10 income streams may be making a comeback.

I've been optimizing my site heavy. I REALLY REALLY want Google to rank me high by default because all the websites in my niche are outdated and they have lots of little errors, and I'm sure Google will reward me for this.

Today I removed the Mailchimp widget (removed 200ms from page load time), optimized Contact Form 7 (removed 150ms from page load time), added in a little code to my functions.php that stops emojis from loading (I'm never going to use emojis on the site, another 100ms from page load time). I experimented with Yoast SEO and I found that removing it is 400ms off page load time, but I can't remove it as it's too useful for my site in general. I'll need to find an alternative.

Images are minified, free CloudFlare CDN is up, I'm still looking for more crap to cut out of my webpage to make the page load time under 1 second, without spending a penny on MaxCDN (although that's not possible since every http request will be 50+ ms if someone's not close to the CDN location).

Here is the code you can place on your WP editor (functions.php) to remove 100-400 ms off load speed if your theme uses emojis and Contact Form 7. PLEASE keep in mind, I'm pretty sure this gets deleted if you update your WP theme. Also, for the contact form replace 'contact' in the !is_page section with whatever your contact form page is. Basically it makes it not load the contact form on every page except the one that it's on
