Journey to passive income - Lets try authority sites

Hi guys,

First few lines about me and this journey.

I am not new into IM, i have more active income streams .
Also this journey wont be something like from 0 to 50 a day.
I would like to create more income streams also some passive income so i have started my first authority website.
Yes first authority website beacuse as many of you i was also bad hit with recent updates and Google burried my micro sites forever

I took my content (which is good) and decied to create one big authority website also all these articles were in the same niche .

What is my strategy?

Money are no problem I can invest , so frist i would like to upload about 100 articles to website . Each article about one keyword ( low or medium competition , 950 local searches , 1 CPC)
I think that one article per two days should be good rate or will see how google will index me.


For linkbuilding i have many seo tools so i dont have to spend much . But from recent updates i have learned that safe linkbuilding is very important now . Of course i dont mean white hat but no more spin content for Tier 1.

Also i would like to try this already shared method:

For tier 2 : social bookmarks, social signals, wikis...
For tier 3: scrapebox blast...

Why i am doing this journey?

Beacuse people here and BHW gave me so much and i would like to give it back . In this journey you can learn from my mistakes. I will spend my money and if it wont work you dont have to . I will describe my linkbuilding more detailed in next posts.


So now i am just putting content on my website . One article per two days, will see how it works maybe i will do one article per day. No linkbuilding for now . For articles i choose iwriter . 1-2% keyword density and two h2 tags + image + YouTube video. Articles are 500 words each. Some from my previous sites are 1000 words.

Also i understand that this journey maybe is not very helpful for total newbies but dont be afraid and ask questions in this thread

I am not going to update this journey every day but i will try to not let this journey die like many people here

For now i am just posting articles i decided for one article per day . Google index my website slowly just homepage is indexed .
I have also scraped 80 keywords which i will use for my articles - as i mentoied one keyword per article.
Keywords are :
low seo competition
High and Medium Adwords Competition
950 + exact local searches
I dont care about cpc for now beacuse in my niche all kws have decent cpc so AW and Seo competition are important

For website i use Thesis 1.8 -i know that maybe not ideal theme for authority website but i have good experiences with it .

AutoSeo tags - automatic tagging posts for search terms
Google XML sitemaps
Quick Cache
Terms of Use
Wordpress Related posts - for interlinking
Akismet
WhyDoWork AdSense - old plugin for all kind of ads not just adsense .

I havent put any ads or monetization on website for now.

How do you plan to put the articles up on your site? Are they going to be blog posts or pages? How will they be linked to?

I'm starting similar websites myself and I'm curious as to how other people are handling this.

From my experiences Google prefer posts . So i am also using posts beacuse of tags and also i dont want to rank my domain name for any keyword i want rank articles for their kws . My domain name is easy memorable word but nothing special just quite related to niche
About interlinking i am using Related posts plugin which automatically choose random posts from website and link to them under post. But maybe i will change it and create links in text to make it more natural.

Good luck. Try to find also other ways to bring traffic to your Website, latest Google updates hit many random sites even with authority and good content.

Guys i have little problem. I have sent sitemap to GWT but it doesnt indexed my whole site.
Is it beacuse i grab content from my old websites? All my old websites are deleted and deindexed but is it problem?
Ok i uploaded frist article from iWriter - pretty good . iWriter is great service beacuse you can read article before accept. If google will index new article frist than i will hide my other articles from old sites.
