Journey to make money

Hey guys I am here to post a Journey thread that I will update everyday for now. This will be about what I am doing to try and make money online. Just a little bit of a background about myself, I just quit working for an online marketing agency doing SEO to do my own thing. I was making about 35k a year but I am 20 years old and have nothing to lose so trying to do something on my own.

I don't know how much I will make or if I will even make anything but I will try my best and see where this takes me. I have 1 SEO client paying me right now monthly so acquiring SEO clients and web design jobs will be something I am doing but not sharing on this thread, I also have a website on the first page of Google locally for moving with trucks which I flip leads to a moving company with but again this thread is only for affiliate. I will only share things related to affiliate marketing. I am a noob myself even though I have been reading for a year or two. I only felt confident enough to start testing right now. So far here is what I have and we will see where this takes me.

I have just purchased a VPN, scrapebox and a craigslist poster (need to purchase PVAs).

I am waiting for scrapebox as it was an echeck and they said I gotta wait to get the program, for craigslist posted I need to buy PVAs and start posting.

My goal is to make money with CPA. I have a very good landing page for a dating offer targeting older women. I am also pushing stumble upon ads right now for an affiliate program promoting a physical product. Doesn't seem like that's converting at all. I will run a campaign on POF and Stumble upon hopefully today if the advertiser approves my offer. One thing ill need help with is cloaking URLs. This is something out of my reach of understanding, I get that you send the page checker to one site and the user to another but its a bit too much for me to understand interms of programming and stuff. I have someone that will make a cloaker for me for POF and stumble upon.

I do have a joint venture on this CPA account with my friend who will start working with me on this. The money will be split 50/50. Ill share as much as I can on this thread in terms of what I am doing.

The plan for this offer will be to run ads and spam it via craigslist and scrapebox (my network can take heat, I am close with one of the aff. managers who told me as long as I bring real sales to do w.e I want).

I forgot to mention for CPA I just spent $100 on a tweet from a fitness model girl that brought me $1.50 in conversions lol. So this is my first bad experience with twitter right now

I will update at the end of each day what I have earned. I will try many different things through out this thread and hopefully bring myself to success, this is like a journal for me to keep organized and write down my ideas to help me focus.

If this fails I will move to the next method and share what I am trying to do etc...

Its good to have a goal your right. My goal for now is to earn $3,000 a month starting today.

I hope your dreams will come true. I'm also glad you decided to quit your job and start doing what you like. I hate people who complaint about their crappy job but still doing it every day.

Making money with CPA is super fun but sometimes it knows to be really hard. At least it was for me when I was starting with CPA. To be honest, you are investing money and time into something that is not sure. It can stressful, so important thing is to keep calm even if you are not doing good.

Thanks bro, it really is stressful and frustrating to be honest but you have to sacrifice in life to get to where you wanna be 100%

Good luck with your journey. The $100 is just part of the learning experience. You can definitely make $3k a month, but it might be difficult if your partner is not as dedicated as you since it is a 50/50 split.

Yes you are right however this is just one thing I am working with him on, in the future I am sure we will do our own thing. He is very dedicated.

So so far I have set up my POF campaign as the CPA offer is approved and landing page is ready. I set it up targetting a female audience for a female dating offer. I think this is a hot niche right now that has not been tapped into as much as the male audience. I have an amazing banner and landing page so I hope this turns out good. I have the banner to run until Sunday and will update the results after. I am going to cloak the URL as soon as they approve my original link.

As far as stumble upon ads go: I got some clicks but no conversions, I think this traffic is better for branding or if you want something to go viral you can run these ads but as far as affiliate goes I just don't see how you can make money on there because after using it myself for a little bit your attention span is very limited to what your seeing and if its not interesting from the start than there is no point. Your stumble would have to be super interesting and then somehow you would need to think of a way to monetize it. Hard to do but deff doable once I have more money to play with.

I also made a blogger blog for germany vs brasil GIFS and ran some facebook ads. Site got 1200 hits since yesterday and I made about 4 bucks on adsense lol but I did realize that if you have a post that will go viral you can make a decent amount with 1 million visitors from 1 viral post. Something that caught my attention to try.

I am still waiting for confirmation email from scrapebox for my tool. I cant wait to start testing with it and see what useful stuff I can come up with.

I also made a campaign on KIJIJI for iPad cases, there is a guy that has an aff. program here called blucase. I really like the quality of cases and someone did email me about one. The issue is KIJIJI is local and people think your trying to sell them in person. If I found a way to spam kijiji ads throughout Canada in all the cities with my aff URL I am sure it would make some money.

So yeah so far 0$ made actually pretty much just spending right now. I will update everyone on how the dating offer goes once its approved and running. The payout is $9 so I should see some good numbers hopefully.
