Hi everybody, welcome to my new journey!

Let's start from the basics, what is this journey:

6-7 years ago I had my very first IM journey thread here. Using YouTube & PPI/PPD, I managed to generate some good pocket money for 13-14yo. Unfortunately recently the BlackHatWorld account got hacked & eventually banned. Few years ago I was also passionate about dropshipping. I didn't think of doing a thread here in BHW, but I had some success with it. Now I am ready to start a new learning & earning journey by using the newest superapp TikTok & good old YouTube. My goal is to obviously earn money that then can be reinvested, because money makes money. Right now it is unclear yet, whether I will be monetizing this by promoting affiliate physical products (Amazon Affiliate) or by using "my own" products by doing dropshipping. There is a possibility I won't use these & go for some third way(up for suggestions, I could learn more about different aspects of IM), but basics are clear:
I will be reuploading niche content from TikTok to YouTube and promoting niche-related products.

It is said that goal has to be SMART;
S - Specific
M - Measurable
A - Achievable
R - Realistic
T - Timely

My ultimate goal is to learn more about IM & consecutively earn ATLEAST $50/day profit until my account shows no less than 11,111€. It is specific, measurable, most likely achievable, very realistic compared to the money IM can generate you, and timely. But you might ask, why such a specific number. The reason being, I like number 1 & I feel like if my bank account shows this amount, I can happily move on to other journeys while living fairly comfortable life to my standards.

What I'm planning on doing in next few days:

Choose a way how to begin monetizing the traffic.
Pick a "test" niche. (If it works, I'll continue with this niche.)
Do KW research for YouTube ranking.
Set up channel(s).

I will try to make this journey to be interesting enough for you to tag along. I most likely won't update you every day, I will try to reply to every single one of you though.

Cheers

Some suggestion. You should pick a niche search low pior keywords, research your rival. Than cab you do better than your rival, if you no fine other niche repeat till you found the rifht one. It's better to spend longer researching the right niche, rather than trsting it, than realizing it's not doable with current resource

Good luck :)

Thank you! :)

Thanks for all the suggestions! I am definitely going to do some in-depth research on keywords and niches.

I appreciate it! :)

Interesting because many such channels have popped up in the past.

Bezos has spoken, he doesn't want my traffic. https://www.cnbc.com/2020/04/14/amazon-slashes-commission-rates-for-affiliate-program.html

Such big cuts in affiliate commissions, I am definitely not gonna go this way. Since I had a hard time choosing a way to monetize this journey, it does make it a bit easier :D

Awesome mate! I'm testing things out with random personal content on both TikTok and Youtube, just because I've had nothing better to do lol! But I've had youtube in mind, but I feel it would be a lot of work when I also do my IG things, but I'll maybe try it out in some weeks/months, I'm not sure if I would:
1. Start from 0 subs, 0 watched hours
2. Start from 0 subs & 0 watched hours, then buy subs and views as soon I've posted things.
3. Buy a ready monetized account and good to go.

I'll have to learn the basic youtube SEO, keywords etc before I start tho.

But good luck, I'll follow you through this journey! :)

Sounds like a good use for free time to me. I unfortunately wouldn't be able to monetize with youtube ads, cause I think TikTok content is copyrighted & not allowed to be monetized. I do have an account with ~4000 subs & 100,000+ watch hours, but I'm not too sure if I want to use this account for my journey or will I use other aged accounts. I don't know if buying subs and views like you said is a good idea, YT algorithm might be smarter than you think :D But perhaps it works, you should test it out once you get started with that.

If you want to learn about youtube ranking system, this one is quite helpful https://www.blackhatworld.com/seo/guide-ranking-youtube-videos-in-2020.1210634/

Yeah, it's actually too much free time nowadays! Ahh, I did not know that is might be copyrighted. Cool, do you have a lot of accounts or? I have actually no idea, the algorithm as you said may be smarter for sure ;)

Indeed, I've never been home so much I think :D I have around 10 accounts that are 9 years old & few that are like few years. But not many subs/watch hours on those. Only 1 account that I've built up a little.

Me too:weep: Oh cool, what did you post before on the one account?

Update #1

So I've found a low competition keywords/niche, that I'm very soon going to try out. Initially I'm going to try to monetize the videos by doing affiliate marketing. Promoting a niche specific virtual product.
I ordered a voiceover from Fiverr, that's going to be an essential part of my offer. Once I get the voiceover file, I will start making my videos, upload and see, how they perform. If the statistics look good, I might try out Instagram shoutouts.
I actually tried this offer out on my old Facebook account, posted in niche groups, but I forgot that Facebook doesn't like affiliate links that much, so most of the posts were deleted pretty much immediately lol. With a proper landing page, instead of direct link, I think I could do better. If anyone has tried this before, let me know if Facebook allows this(meaning posts won't get deleted). Other than that, I got 16 clicks & 1 order impression(unfinished order).

Expenses: -$12.59
Earnings: $0

Profit: -$12.59

Keep it going! i believe in what u do :)

Got my audio file, now time to work. I'll try to complete my offer video tomorrow. I might use Fiverr again, because I'd like my offer video to be high quality, I'm not too sure if I'm happy with what I can produce, then it can take few more days until I can post my first video.
I also forgot to mention, that I have an older IG account in that same niche with 6,000+ followers. So I might try it there first :)
