Journey To Internet Revenue

No one bought a darn thing from my amazon affiliate site yesterday. I didn't even get a click. So I added some within each article, so hopefully that will help the sales. No one has bought anything from my amazon seller account yet either.

No ad clicks yet.

I finished the five posts to my authority site, so that makes 31 posts.

I would really like to buy long tail pro, GSA SER, and a captcha, but I just don't have the money.

I am going to manually spin another article for my amazon affiliate site, and run GSA SER for my authority and amazon affiliate site.

I just made $100 selling items on amazon! Yay!!!

Actually $75 once amazon fees were subtracted.

I also got an ad click on my amazon affiliate website.

I am up from 24 amazon affiliate clicks to 29 yesterday. 37 uniques yesterday on the affiliate site. 10 so far today with one google ad click.

My authority site is now on the first page, but it continues to have 0 uniques, which is quite odd.
 
This is good, but try to highlight serious updates, like you got any sales, then change your update font color, make it bold or/and increase font size.

If you're in college, you're probably writing a decent amount. Have you considered Kindle? (Some of my books are only 5k words, which is as much content as on your sites). In the next 2-3 months, that's probably going to be my biggest income source.

Do you mean writing an ebook? Yes, I have one out right now. I have it enrolled in KDP select. It has 558 free downloads. The sales are pitiful though.
 
I am a big IDIOT!

I must have accidentally deleted my tracking code widget on my authority site! No wonder I wasn't getting any views!

It only took me a week to figure that out!

However, I am now ranked 7th on Google for the main keyword!

Kindle comes down to market research. How big is the market? What's the competition? What's the demographic? etc.

Are you in a position to compete? Where are you ranking? How many reviews do you have? And are your title, cover and content aligned with your potential audience?

It's a lot to think about, but when you get it right, it will pay off.

My rank was killer when it was being offered as free, now it's over infinity. I only have two reviews, but they are five star. The cover could be better. I think I may order a fiverr gig to create a good one, but my next free period.

Classes start tomorrow. Uggghhhhhhhh. You wouldn't believe I have a 3.75 GPA considering my attitude.
 
I'm so torn! I had GSA SER, captcha breaker, and indexer in my cart. But I canceled it because I don't know if I should spend the money. On one hand, I think it would increase my earnings. On the other hand, I would like to save the money and buy it with my IM earnings.
 
A big part of ranking on Amazon is total downloads/sales. I seem to remember it's 10 free downloads equals 1 sale, but I could be making that up. Try lowering your price to 99 cents and see what that does. Once it pops up, you can change the price back. Try promoting it where the market is located. Think Facebook pages, forums, etc.

You already have the book done (this is the hard part), and Amazon already has the traffic. Even if it isn't going to be the next best seller, it can still provide some extra cash.

I was ranked around 1200 with 558 downloads. After my free period, I was up around 470000, then I got my second sale and was around 100000. So yea, sales/downloads is huge for ranking.

I'll look into promotion more, but I dread posting on forums and Facebook.
 
Update for today:

I found out one of my niche sites is ranked 23rd for the domain keyword without doing any external SEO. I should work on that.

My affiliate site is ranked 82 for the domain keyword and 101 with a variation.

My authority site is still ranked 7 for the main keyword, but the other keyword rankings are terrible.

I decided I'm going to buy GSE SER, 10 proxies, and GSA captcha tonight to ramp up the SEO efforts. I found a helpful thread with a bunch of information so hopefully I can get it set up right and improve the rankings.

Clicks and visits today are pitiful.

Up to 35 clicks on my affiliate ads. No purchases, and no purchases from my amazon seller account.

Oh, and I added 4 more articles to my authority site to make it an even 40.

Apparently, my IP was banned for my affiliate site. Not really sure what that means honestly. I've been using proxies, so I don't know. But it caused it to only make 2 verified links.

Do you do link pyramids or just build links directly to your money site?
