Today I feel I hit rock bottom in my life. My back is against the wall and the only way I know to go to is forward.
Some of my background so you might understand why I am starting this journey.-
I grew up in a happy home until I was 8. After 8, my parents started to have regular fights which involved everyone from my mothers family and my fathers family. (I am from India so this is pretty common for families to be involved.)
In a tiny apartment, we were 6 people living (my sister, me, mother, father and grandparents.). We didn't have a lot, but it was enough to get by. After constant fights and arguments, my dad moved out of our Grandparents home to another country to earn money for the family. Everyone else stayed back. My mother and Father got a divorce, but my mother kept living with the grandparents and my sister since we didn't have money to rent a place.
My grandmother has been a bad person all her life and made things hard for everyone by constant fights and not sharing foods and stuff. I couldn't do anything back then since I was young.
At the age of 18 I moved out of my city to work and got my first job earning $263 a month. I did that job for over a year and then for the next 4 years I have been doing small jobs before landing a regular income job of $660 a month. It wasn't a lot, but it helped.
Before the recession my dad had brought 2 apartments to sell off later, hoping to make some money. Once the recession hit, the prices went down and now we have a loan of over $67,000.
Once Corona came to my country, I lost my job and my father is the only one keeping our family afloat. His salary has been stuck for quite a while now and that has put us in a tough spot.

Fights are a normal thing here, but today really set the bar high. We had a big fight at our home for property reasons with our neighbours and my mother finally gave in and is planning on moving out of the house. We do not have the money to fund it, so she plans on selling her things to be able to do it.
I am making this journey as a record of how you can change your life in worst of times. No matter if you are coming from a dysfunctional family/ are poor / or fighting your demons. You can win.

Monthly Emi's on the apartments. - $650
Goals -
1) To earn $2000 a month to support my family.
2) To live a happy life, where everyone is taken care off and everyone is happy.
Plan -
There is a 28% Employment rate in my country and so far my old job hasn't opened up back yet. Will have to see what will happen from here. I am learn Programming so that I can help my father, but I am just a beginner and that will takes years before I can earn some money with.
Will see where to go from here. Journey starts today.
