    Background

Having lurked on here since Dec. 2012, it's about time that I take real action.
This log exists to keep me accountable:
the main goal here is to stay consistent and finish projects
    .

At this time, I have a handful of websites that need to be finished, even more projects that have only been started, hundreds of bookmarked Internet Marketing threads and websites
and almost as many sticky notes and MS Word pages of ideas/methods.

To date, I have spent approximately $650 on hosting plans, Facebook marketing, Fiverr gigs and domains [it took me a while to learn that one doesn't need a hosting plan with each domain and that most Fiverr gigs are garbage] but to be fair, not all of these were entirely IM-related and my online article writing / revenue sharing income has far surpassed those costs.

Despite currently working and managing to cover all bills, IM endeavors could more than sustain the lifestyle that I desire.

This log won't comment much on my health-related goals but I do have a checklist to go over and will comment on my progress.
The main health goal is to train every day.

    Related Experience
    • Earned 4 figures from article writing
    • Have made 5 simple websites [4 active]
    • 3 IM-related domain re-directs
    • Multiple Facebook campaigns
    • English as a native language
    • Past IM blunders
    Resources
    • 1 laptop + multiple public computers
    • Dynamic IP + easy access to public IPs
    • 4 hosting plans, 4 IM-related domains
    • 1 reseller website
    • Multiple online accounts
    • Access to thousands of students
    • Inexpensive potential employees
    • A potential business partner
    • Time
    Methods
    • Reselling services [Outsourcing SMM, SEO, etc.]
    • Affiliate marketing [CB and more]
    • CPA / PPD / PPI [multiple methods]
    • Article Writing [Adsense, Rev. Share and more]
    • Consulting [once I've proven myself]
    Benchmarks
    • 100 posts on BHW = buying Jr. VIP
    • $70/day will cover regular expenses
    • $200/day will cover all desired expenses

I will aim to provide daily updates on what I have done as well as how much I have spent, including regular bills [even though they are covered by my regular work] as the goal is to have IM income cover bills from here on out [I will not count the bills that were paid on the 1st].

[*=center]Sent ~900 emails to people/businesses that could use the services that I resell, unsure if all emails went through
[*=center]Corresponded with 2 people [who found me through advertisements] that may be interested in the above
[*=center]Realized how out of shape I am while lifting baby weights at the gym
[*=center]Need to drink more water, otherwise hit most health goals for the day
      [*=center]Applied to 1 CPA site

I need to step it up tomorrow.

    IM Earnings: $0
    Expenses: $5 on pizza

You have a solid base of resources and a fair amount of experience man. I think you'll do alright if you work on your goals daily and actually make some efficient work, not just being busy.

By the way, your first goal (benchmark) is to buy a Jr.VIP, that's great man, I'm glad you want to support this amazing forum. But, if you are buying it thinking it's a magic bullet that will get you to your third benchmark just for having it you'll be in some problems. If you can't make 200 bucks a day with what's shared in the main section of this forum, buying access to the Jr.VIP won't change a thing.

Anyway, based on your previous experiences and perceived mindset, I think you'll be alright.

    Good luck man.

To funkybunker and Heatz: Thanks for the encouragement!

I will be buying the BHW membership to support the forum as well as to establish myself in this community.

I've also noticed some of my bookmarks have become hidden.

    Day 2

    • [*=center]Checked Clickbank (27 hops, 0 orders) from one method but it is easy enough to scale and combine with CPA offers
[*=center]I'll be working on a couple newsletters and am building email lists for each niche (currently ~700 emails collected)
[*=center]Edited a YouTube video for an affiliate offer and posted in a few places, received some negative emails haha
[*=center]Sent ~50 market research emails to people who I can target for my day-to-day work as well as with IM
[*=center]Managed to get quite a bit of rest but otherwise fell short on health goals
[*=center]Posted more ads for services I re-sell, no responses today
[*=center]Applied to 1 CPA site and 1 PPI site

I wish that video production were something that I found more interesting. The reality is that it will likely be outsourced in the future.

I need to step it up tomorrow.

    IM Earnings: $0
    Expenses: $0

    To date: -$5

    Day 3

    • [*=center]APPROVED to both CPA networks
[*=center]Posted a bunch of ads for a side project with a friend. ZERO response rate without a phone number, lesson learned.
[*=center]3 responses to those 50 market research emails have all looked good for a brick and mortar joint business venture
[*=center]Started off the day demoralized by an [unexpected] expense but then the day became better
[*=center]Went to the gym with a bad headache yet still lifted a good amount of weight
[*=center]Spent a good chunk of my time running around

I will step it up tomorrow.

    IM Earnings: $0
    Expenses: $179

    To date: -$184*

*none are IM-related at this point

    • [*=center]Posted a few more ads for my reseller products
[*=center]Have a reseller sale that is about to go through that will bring me into the positives
[*=center]Made a list of 60+ niches for PPI. Will download Camtasia and get to editing videos.
[*=center]Posted on a revenue sharing site
[*=center]Only met a few health goals today

Spending too much time thinking and not enough time taking action.

I will step it up tomorrow.

    Day 5

    • [*=center]Posted more ads for reseller site, paid for one listing
[*=center]I'm getting a fair number of reseller ad views but they aren't converting. My margins are high and my website needs work.
[*=center]Ate a good amount but didn't drink enough, some low intensity cardio.
[*=center]Meant to get a bunch of work done after work but was far too tired
[*=center]I'll try to do a summary every 5 days in to this journey

    5 day summary:

    • [*=center]A few dozen online ads, 1 paid ad
[*=center]Only 3/50 responses to a market research survey
[*=center]1 potential reseller sale that will bring me into the positives
[*=center]28 Clickbank hops, 0 sales. I need to scale this method and integrate CPA offers
[*=center]1 affiliate YouTube video had the affiliate email me saying they didn't approve of my one tactic, I don't blame them.
[*=center]Approved to 2 CPA sites, 1 PPI site and have only browsed offers and made a list of 60+ niches so far
[*=center]*Forgot that on Monday I responded to ~30 job postings to market reseller site
[*=center]Slacking on health goals. Currently my fattest in a long time.

    • [*=center]I'm not doing enough and that will change.

I have some expenses coming up that I want to fully cover with IM ventures and it's just a matter of putting the time in.

I need to step it up tomorrow.

    IM Earnings: $0
    Expenses: $27

    To date: -$211

    • [*=center]Posted more ads for reseller site, offline business and 1 newsletter idea
[*=center]I still need to edit my reseller site in order to get sales. Should contact businesses directly to avoid time-wasters.
[*=center]Took me an hour to create my first Camtasia video. Hopefully I can get 300 videos up in the 30 day trial.
[*=center]Health goals have been slacking aside from getting a bunch of sleep. I have been lifting though.
[*=center]Donated $100 to not-for-profits and have over $200 worth of clothes to drop off tomorrow
[*=center]Back to doing some rev. share writing that should go up to $25+/day if I stick to it

Estimated upcoming expense of $1400 and then an optional $4000 expense. I really need to step things up.

    IM Earnings: $0 *
    Expenses: $54 **
*I won't count the rev. share writing until I get paid
**Expenses are still from day-to-day stuff, won't count donations

    To date: -$265

Due to tight finances, I've been trying to make money offline as most online options take more than a week before having the cash (Paypal, net 15/30/45 etc) and I need to drum up a couple hundred.

    • [*=center]Lost a couple of reseller sales that would have solved money woes
[*=center]Eating out too much, need to renew gym membership
[*=center]Working on an exciting offline marketing project

I apologize for the slow start here.
May sell one of my sites and then I'll be on track.

    IM Earnings: $0 *
    Expenses: $147 **
*Not counting the rev. share writing until it's in my Paypal
**Expenses are still unrelated to IM

    To date: -$412

Best of luck on this, you seem organized. That's key.

As for your health goals, here's a tip that you've probably already done and/or heard but you should definitely do this up. If you're on a specific diet plan, I understand that making food takes time and effort, both of which most people don't usually have. Try to cook up your meals for the ENTIRE week on Sunday or Monday, and package them thoroughly and in an organized manner. This way, you won't have to waste time making the meals and doing the dishes afterwards. Simply warm up or open up your food when you need to, and boom.

This should be able to prevent you from eating out and ordering food from places. Stick with it man, your future self will thank you.

Again, hell yeah, best of luck and keep on keepin' on!

A slow start does not mean a terrible start.
Glad to see you're determined. Keep at it.

It's been far too long since I last updated this thread. I can say that I am not worried about any bills right now and have a comfortable amount saved. Here's what I have and haven't done:

    What I haven't done:

    • [*=center]Haven't touched Clickbank or other affiliates
      [*=center]Haven't done anything with CPA/PPD/PPI
      [*=center]Haven't touched my reseller site
[*=center]Haven't been making any real online income (yet!)
[*=center]Haven't been taking any vitamins nor supplements on any consistent basis

    What I have done:

    • [*=center]Used classified posting to drum up offline work that generated 4 figures & recurring business
[*=center]Sought business advice to further improve the offline work
[*=center]Started to track all of my accounts and wrote out SEO checklist
[*=center]Made $50 from a rev share site from sporadic posting
[*=center]Some IM-related reading and really small tasks (see next line for an example)
[*=center]Made a fake FB account where I'm slowly approving friend requests
[*=center]I've been training 6 days per week consistently now for about a month
[*=center]While I'm not eating the best quality food, I'm not spending quite as much and I look better
[*=center]Sleep schedule is a lot better

    What I will do:

    • [*=center]Improve offline business(es)
[*=center]Mass mailing for online & offline
      [*=center]Improve consistency online
      [*=center]More account creation
[*=center]Start knocking off methods posted on here, make it successful, automate, rinse and repeat

Bank account is healthy and will be much better when I commit myself more.

I'm refusing to let this journey die.

I was in a good position before with what I was doing offline but my partner and I lost our motivation to continue despite bringing in quite a bit per hour at times. Ended up selling off some recurring clients to a competitor for $100 each. Sounds crazy and I should have outsourced it but at this time it is too late. I still have the website and have it ranked to the 2nd result in Google so I can build it up next year [as it is seasonal work].

    Setbacks:

    • [*=center]Had my fake FB profile locked.
      [*=center]Lost a few Web 2.0's
      [*=center]Had my wallet stolen
[*=center]Only have a combined $60 to my name
      [*=center]Low $XX XXX in debt

    What I have done:

    • [*=center]Started a PPD/PPI site
      [*=center]Started a review site
      [*=center]Some account creation
[*=center]Steady training, decent amounts of regular sleep
[*=center]Lots of thinking, not enough action

    What I will do:

    • [*=center]Take action
      [*=center]Stop complaining
      [*=center]Build more reviews
      [*=center]Build up PPD/PPI site

Half the year is over and I'm not making a steady income online. This has to change given the amount of time that I spend on my laptop.
I will be mostly offline from Saturday onwards as I'm volunteering and then doing some offline work.

You really need to stick to one thing you are good at and can make money from. Whilst we all like to mess around and look at different methods at some point you just have to buckle down and focus. You have spent far too much time reading this forum and watching what other people are doing and not enough time doing any work.

I can't comment on PPD/PPI since it is not something that interests me but is this project really something you beleive will make you money (long term) on the internet or just another flash in the pan method until you get accounts banned?
