Journey to a stable $20/Day with AdSense.

Hi guys,


After reading a lot and implementing a couple of methods this is my first attempt to actually structure and organize anything on my IM "carreer", so I decided to create a journey thread to keep myself accountable and stay motivated.


The plan is to go Whitehat as much as possible, my goal is to create an information site and monetize it with AdSense.


While researching my niche this is what I came up with as far as keyword competition goes (the top one is my main keyword):





For content, this is a subject that I'm actually interested in, I belong to many Facebook groups with experts in the field, many of them have agreed to write articles and provide pictures for the site (which a lot of them have already sent to me), besides I plan to do a lot of article writing myself since I feel like I have a medium to advance knowledge in the matter.



Check list:


1. Find a low competition niche (✓)
2. Do some keyword research (✓)
3. Get hosting and an EMD for my main keyword (✓)
4. Set up an Adsense optimized WP theme (✓)
5. Create a Silo site structure (✓)
6. Get a logo designed from a Fiverr gig (✓)
7. Create a FB page, FB group, YT channel, Twitter and Pinterest for my site (✓)
9. Write the general information articles and set up guest posting for the more advanced topics ( )
10. Apply for Adsense with this site. (I have an Adsense account already, but it works with YT only) ( )




If you guys think that I'm missing something or have some advice please let me know.

Yeah, I guess that it is a lot of work at first but I want this to be a long term thing

What tool did u use for researching the keywords? Mind sharing ?

@luxurybuyer: you can try using google keyword planner they have the most accurate results since its out of their database.

Those seem to be competitive keywords. If you could rank with those amount of searches, you will bank hard.

You mentioned article writing, but you didn't say how you're going to do other things - do you have a budget to outsource seo?
Depending on your skills, available time and budget - we can give you a few tips to get started. 20$ a day is fairly easy with enough targeted traffic.

I thought adsense can be used for both youtube and on sites?

(Not really a youtube guy)

Sorry for not updating this thread guys, I was on holiday and we have been having some problems at work, so I haven't had any time to invest on the site, I got the articles written and I'm posting them at the moment.

I will post a more detailed update later today.

I used Google Keyword Tool.

I don't have any money to outsource SEO right now, I'm trying to drive as much traffic as I can with social signals, but I plan to learn SEO as I go. Any pointers or advise that you guys could give me is really appreciated!
