Same here, for example I got $2.5 in total out of 4 successful installs (both toolbar, nontoolbar included), so averaged down to around $0.6 per successful install. There is also about 40% conversion rate which lead to successful installs. Words have been said about $1.6 per install, I wonder if the myth could still be replicated.

U.S. pays the most. UK is half that. Then it drops a lot. The rest of the world pays very little per install.
$1.60 - $2.00 are for top-tier affiliates with U.S. traffic. Hard to do unless you have a huge amount of traffic and generate a lot of installs.

It seems most people are going for the "BLAST" method. Uploading as many videos as possible. I feel like every video you upload you gravely increase the chance youtube will detect you and ban you.
Has anybody tried the proven niche route? I'm fairly sure if you stick to solid performers and low numbers (IP > accounts > videos) then you'll retain traffic alot better.

not so bad, are you also doing the ppi?
The biggest problem we all facing is accounts get banned too quickly. And it takes money or time to get the accounts. Got to say I am troubled by the account problem at the moment.

Yeah - offer something real instead of fake app and you'll see your videos stick
